I want to thank everyone got involved and came down to @xeno_futurism ‘s Inhuman/Infrastructures at @gossamerfog ‘s Alt_R this May

In a proliferating age of interaction with synthetic/non-human architectures and algorithmic enclosure, we felt that hosting a critical technologies symposium was necessary, by producing a communal contact zone to learn from creative technologists, artists and theorists.

We fostered this and more. Our deepest thanks to everyone who came down over the bank holiday weekend to inhabit infrastructures of refusal, engage with the work, and drive these urgent conversations forward.

Xeno Futurism and Gossamer Fog invite you to In/Human Infrastructures: a three-day critical technologies symposium, exhibition, and screening programme hosted at Alt_R in Deptford, London.

Unfolding across the bank holiday weekend (22-24
May), the symposium will feature a free exhibition and film screenings during the day, followed by a programme of lectures, performances, and workshops each evening.

Moving beyond academic posturing and hype-cycle sloptimism, the symposium aims to establish a communal contact zone where artists, theorists, and technologists can transfer the tactical skills and operational knowledge needed to navigate an era of accelerating technological capture and uncertain autonomy.

Le tissage né d'une répétition d'un même geste : l'entrecroisement de fils à angle droit. Ici, la trame est construite à partir de câbles pénétrant dans le voile blanc ; le voile devient l'armure du tissu.
Pendant que je tisse, je me raconte des histoires, des rêves que j'écris : comme une tension entre le tissage et l'écriture -le codage.
Tisser devient un langage névrotique, imaginaire et autosuffisant

contemporary calamity-dispelling ritual live performance[xmas edition]

下午的“捏小人”工作坊，给大家介绍一些来自喜马拉雅高山里的原住民是如何用仪式来对抗恐惧，然后我们会一起聊聊属于当代的牛鬼蛇神，并尝试把这些恐惧用面粉捏出来。
晚上的表演twomoons1Q84会和xiaojiang一起，用我们能用到的东西来山寨一场当代的消灾仪式。
Join us for the Dough Figurine workshop, where @diyloveclub will share insights into how the indigenous communities of the Himalayan highlands use rituals to confront fear. Following this, we’ll engage in a discussion about modern-day interpretations of all sorts of wicked creatures, and work together to sculpt these fears using flour. Together with @jdrrrrx1999 they will later collaborate on a DIY contemporary ritual for dispelling misfortune, improvising with whatever materials we have at hand.
