LCS Senior, Rowan Milligan, just earned her pilot’s license and spotted our campus from the air on one of her first flights! ✈️

Rowan has been part of the LCS family since 6th grade, and her journey to becoming a licensed pilot began in her junior year. She dedicated her time outside of school, sports, and clubs to training, studying for her exam, and flying solo cross-country missions. Recently, she took the controls of a Robin 2160 airplane from Long Island Airpark and flew directly over Lincoln Charter School! 🦅

Rowan plans to pursue a career in aviation while applying to flight programs and universities. When she’s not in the skies, she’s Co-Captain of the Women’s Varsity Tennis team and active in campus life.

Lincoln Charter is proud to have students like Rowan who are truly reaching new heights every day!

Holland’s teachers came by to drop off some goodies including this sign, a kindergarten t-shirt, and some summer homework. (Which she was ecstatic about.) We love you, @meredithfonseca, Mrs. Leatherman and @lcs_lincolnton.

When your kid’s school says they are going to have a parade for parents to drive the students by and wave to their teachers and you have the kid who’s extra and dresses like the princess she is to wave from the sunroof. Tristan was so embarrassed. 🤣👸🏼💜

This is a difficult time for young people. To the millions of students who are graduating from high school and heading on to college, we want to take a moment to recognize your hard work. The late nights studying, the extracurriculars, the work that it took to get to this moment is not unrecognized. We're proud of each and every graduate of #TheClassof2020. No matter what your plans are for the future whether it's attending a university, community college, or heading into the military, WE ARE PROUD OF YOU. Happy #CollegeSigningDay.
