Judges Comments

Mysterious images unfold in concertina form, black paper mounted on another sort of black. As the book stretches out, the images reveal mystery after mystery. The relief prints expertly use the graphic character of the medium. The images seductively hint ask: is this a type of nature that is suggested by these sinuous lines?

Thankyou to our judges Marian Crawford and Susan Long and our Prize Sponsor @melbourne.etching.supplies
