Over the weekend, I re-visited the @lindacatchlove exhibition ‘A Whimsical Life’ at the @botanicgardenssa organised by Linda’s daughter @lillian.pill 💛 To have a quiet moment sitting with Linda was much needed after celebrating the opening night with @ziniaking

Before Linda’s passing, her mentorship had a profound influence on me, shaping the course of my path. As my PhD nears its end, I’ve spent time re-reading notes from our meetings, conversations and emails, finding her soft guidance, encouragement and gentle optimism in those old hand written notes from years ago 🌼

Exhibition on until the 14th of September in the Museum of Economic Botany, Adelaide Botanic Garden

Adelaide peeps, make sure you check out the art exhibition of @lindacatchlove at @botanicgardenssa 🥰I’ve never been someone who appreciated art, until now!! And I think I’ve fallen in love 🥰 Also a visit wouldn’t be complete without a sneaky peek in @diggersadelaide 🤣

Garden is A Whimsical Life - the art of
Linda Catchlove.

@lindacatchlove was preparing for an
exhibition on Plants and Pollinators when she lost her long battle with cancer.

Curated by her family, the exhibition has
now become a retrospective of the life,
passion and work of a truly gifted
botanical artist.

📍Open now until the 14th September in
the Museum of Economic Botany. Open
daily 10am-4pm. Entry is free.

When you buy prints and giftware from @lindacatchlove you are supporting a proud local business!

Linda Catchlove’s artwork celebrates Australian flora and fauna, and they make very thoughtful souvenirs.

Round of applause to Lily who continues to share her mother’s passion. What a great legacy 💗

Sarah the Southern Brown Bandicoot is being extremely rude, wanting to replace all the artworks on my walls, but I won’t allow it! I’m giving her away instead. 😉 If you want to have her on your wall, just subscribe to my mailing list before midday tomorrow! 😎

Artworks (kind of) featured: @mary_pulford_artist @danwitheyart @lindacatchlove along with some of my own.
