Could not be happier with the job that Tony Jones of La Touche Furniture Restorations has done on my chairs!

These two Edwardian chairs belonged to my Great Grandmother who lived in Derry. Now, over 120 years later, they are living their new life in Greystones.

I am really honoured that my painting “Dressed in Yellow,” inspired by the radiant rapeseed fields between Greystones and Bray Head, has been selected by curators @eamon_colman and @marydoyleburkeartist for inclusion in the “Lines of the Land” exhibition in @an_chead_tine Kilkenny.

Opening night is Friday the 21st (tomorrow!) at 7pm, and the show is open to the public until July 9th.

A few snaps from The Kilkenny Portrait Show which opened yesterday in @an_chead_tine gallery. Over 80 artworks on show all selected by @blaisesmithartist rha. There was an enormous turnout, the standard of the artwork was so high and as usual I wish I had taken more photos! But the good news is the exhibition runs until the 13th of April. It’s brilliant. Go see it.

Happily, two pieces of mine were selected for the exhibition in the @hamilton.gallery so my daughter (and reluctant model!) and I made the trip from Greystones to Sligo!
