Had the opportunity attend the Issue 2 Release Party for @empwrmagazineofficial and it was such a beautiful event🌟🩷 I love the message of women empowerment especially for women of color and sharing their authentic stories. The event and magazine content itself really reminds you how connected we all are as women in the community around us!

Shoutout to the powerhouse who put all of this together @thefineshine, the amazing host as always @sofiamoussier, and all the decor by @evanb_106 👏🏾

The Buji takes Detroit event today was such a vibe🍵
the matcha & branding was a 10/10 plus I love to support a Black-woman owned business. If the Buji pop-up is coming to a city near you don’t miss out!

The Prelude — Juneteenth Edition🌟 I couldn’t have imagined a better way to celebrate Black joy, liberation, and community! Being able to play a major role in the creative direction/design of this event alongside people I love and admire means everything to me. From the welcome sign, the posters, the table signage, the signature drink menu + more I designed these with the intention of making this an immersive experience for everyone who stepped foot in the space🧡

Shoutout to everyone who pulled up ready to have a good time. Thank you to all my people who came out to support me it means the world!

This is only the beginning, we’ll see y’all next year <3

Hi everyone! ✨

We’re excited to officially introduce the 2026–2027 Executive Board—please join us in congratulating our new leaders:

Sania Griffith – President
Marianna Fall – Vice President
Lindsey Perry – Secretary
Angel Smith – Assistant Secretary
Jaiden Pauling – Treasurer
Brandon Murphy – Assistant Treasurer
Arline Lile – Program Chair
Madison Doctor – PCI Chair
Milayn Barksdale – Senator

Let’s show them some love and celebrate this next chapter! 🎉

Additionally, Sania Griffith will be presented with the “Passing the Torch” trophy tomorrow. This award will be carried forward each term to the incoming president, symbolizing the continuation of our chapter’s legacy, leadership, and commitment to excellence. Each elected president will pass this trophy on to the next, representing the responsibility to uplift, lead, and continue building on the foundation set before them.

As we transition into the new term, the LTU NSBE email and Instagram accounts will be handed over to the new President and Secretary by May 3rd. I’ll continue organizing and updating our files to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
