Sunday was one for the books.

World premiering two features at the Dallas International Film Festival is something I don’t take lightly—and it doesn’t happen alone.

Huge thank you to my producing partner, Xander McCabe, who’s been in the trenches with me every step of the way on both films. The long days, the problem-solving, the grind… we did it.

And to everyone who supported, worked on, believed in, or touched these projects in any way—cast, crew, partners, friends, and family—this moment belongs to all of you.

Grateful. Proud. Just getting started. 🎬

Don't underestimate the power of cheering for your friends.

Don't underestimate the power of encouragement (especially on the rough days, but on the good days too).

Don't underestimate the power of fanning the flame on each other’s dreams. Like, yes, I love that for you and I think you can do it!

Don't underestimate the power of a text that just says something like "Hey thinking of you, and I just wanted to tell you you're amazing."

Don't underestimate the power of being invested in each others success and asking questions like, "Hey how's that thing you're working on going?"

Don't underestimate the power of women linking arms and hearts.

Together we're unstoppable.

Love,
Melanie💗
