ARTSIDE Gallery is pleased to present the group exhibition 𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘺 from November 13 to December 26. Featuring eight artists—Line Finderup, Kim Sijong, Kim Yeonhong, Park Jihea, Yoon Sangyoon, Lee Jieun, Choi Hojun, and Hwang Jiyoung—this exhibition takes the holly tree, which shines most vividly in winter, as its point of departure to reflect on what remains and endures through the harshest season. Grounded in the symbolism of evergreen leaves, vibrant red berries, and sharp thorns, the exhibition invites viewers to contemplate what stays with us at the turn of the year through the unique perspectives of these artists. We warmly invite your interest and visit. * The opening reception will take place on November 13 at 5:00 PM. Hwang jiyoung Holly 2026.11.13(Fri) - 12.26(Sat) Opening 2026.11.13(Fri), 6:30pm

With the work “Heavy lifting” in the exhibition GROWING, the question of production is traced back through a much older art history. The vase - standing a meter tall - is 3D-printed using semi-transparent filament, with figures arranged around its volume. As a vessel for imagery, the vase has served for millennia as both a container and a narrative surface; it holds, carries, stores, and transports, while its exterior bears stories. In this work, that ancient formal language meets contemporary technology, with the object built up layer by layer from a digital model. The concept of carrying thus takes on multiple meanings. The vase carries the figures. The material carries the form. Bodies carry other bodies. And an artwork can carry traces of more than one artist’s intention. Parenthood is present within this structure, without serving as the exhibition’s definitive answer. Rather, it intensifies a condition already inherent in the collaboration: something created through a joint effort never becomes entirely one’s own or fully subject to one’s control. In this sense, the exhibition “GROWING” is not just about growth, but about production as a process of handing over - between artists and materials, between biological and technological processes, between bodies, and between varying degrees of control. Something is set in motion, worked upon, and passed on.

GROWING Two practices, two ways of working, brought together in the same space. In GROWING, Josephine Baltzersen & Line Finderup meet in the works - where carved surfaces, cast forms and airbrushed colour come together, overlap and remain visibly distinct. A closer look at the exhibition, now on view at Albert Contemporary. Supported by Knud Højgaards Fond.

GROWING - a collaborative exhibition by Josephine Baltzersen and Line Finderup In the collaborative works, Baltzersen’s carved and cast reliefs meet Finderup’s airbrush paintings. The motifs are developed through both drawing and digital 3D sketching before the image is divided between the two techniques. The collaboration does not seek a unified expression in which the differences disappear. On the contrary, it seeks a balance in which the two can coexist. The materials - and thereby the artists’ hands - remain visible. Join us for the vernissage on 19 September from 11:00-14:00 at Albert Contemporary, Brandts Passage 31C, 5000 Odense C. GROWING - Josephine Baltzersen & Line Finderup We are pleased to invite you to the vernissage of GROWING, a duo exhibition by Josephine Baltzersen & Line Finderup. GROWING brings together new individual and collaborative works by Line Finderup and Josephine Baltzersen across relief, painting, 3D printing and animation. In a new series of collaborative works, Baltzersen’s carved and cast surfaces meet Finderup’s airbrushed imagery. Developed through an exchange between drawing and digital 3D sketching, two distinct artistic languages remain visible within the same image. Developed through a period of bodily and temporal change, the exhibition moves between the intimate and the technological, the biological and the constructed. Bodies are pictured, measured, fragmented and translated: medical imaging meets the visual language of simulation, while historical traditions of relief and image-bearing vases reappear through contemporary materials and digital production. GROWING approaches growth not as a linear progression, but as a process of transformation, shaped by other bodies, materials, technologies and hands. The exhibition is kindly supported by Knud Højgaards Fond September 19th, 11:00-14:00 Albert Contemporary Brandts Passage 31C, 5000 Odense C We look forward to welcoming you to GROWING 📸 @sofieehrhorn
