A few of my favourite frames from a year spent looking up (and occasionally down). Many of the images are split across two slides — swipe through slowly to see the full frame.

From Bologna to Cremona, San Marino and beyond — this past year has taken me into some incredible places, events and communities, photographing athletes who have found freedom on a line of webbing suspended between centuries of history, pushing the limits of what feels possible in highlining.

These are some of the images that have stayed with me most.

I know I’ve been a little quiet on here recently, but behind the scenes I’ve been busy working on a longer story about the growth of urban highlining in Italy — built around the places, people and communities behind these photographs.

A huge thank you to everyone across the slackline communities who has welcomed me, trusted me with their events and allowed me to document what you do. I’ve had an incredible time getting to know this community over the past year, and I’m excited to see where it goes next.

Which shot stands out for you most?

More coming soon ✌🏼shot with @sony.unitedkingdom @sony.italia

What an amazing meeting we had with the Spider and Slack Inov’ athletes team in Italy! ✨

It’s incredible to feel part of such a wonderful community that loves to share and come together every year…🤝❤️

This connection is truly important to us, and we will continue to build on it! 💪🌟

Thank you to all the athletes who could join us, and to those who couldn’t make it, we felt your presence in spirit and look forward to seeing you next year! 🙌😊

A special thanks to Edo and Flo for all their hard work behind the scenes, and to the entire team for their support… 🙏👏

The Donut 🍩 — a small detail that makes a huge difference. It surrounds the leash ring and helps soften impacts that could otherwise lead to serious injuries.🚑
Sometimes the simplest protection is the most important.🫶

You can find the Donut on the online shop of Spider Slacklines🕷️
