When the cuzzo @grindmentality1 hits you up to go fishing, you go. First time combat fishing and I knocked off a bucket list fish.

Its been a while but the touch never goes away. A nice 12 pounder maybe a bit more for the dinner table just about the size I like to keep now. @lines_and_hookers #fish #fishing #surffishing #surfcasting #angler

Let me tell you something about this fish. First off I skunked for three almost four weeks. On the hunt for this fish. I had my buddy’s to the left of me catching and also on the right side. Throwing the same stuff as them and still not catching. Sometimes fishing just kicks your a** and it’s not your time to catch. Going out every night on the hunt for this fish pushing through the agonizing back pain and tiredness. It was so rewarding to finally feel that thump and my drag screaming. With all that being said that’s why I don’t tell anyone about spots because I spent countless hours searching for this one fish. It’s not big but nothing will ever beat catching striper from the surf. Now get off your couch and go get your line wet loser 🤣

Keeping the public safe from these old videos 2 POVs 50 seconds of popping 2 minutes of battle end result about a 12-15lb fish maybe more 34-35” give or take. Had about 3 blows up that day couldn’t get them to stick finally God BLESSED ME. Key word, perseverance. steadfastly enduring trials, suffering, and temptation without losing faith. It is the courageous act of remaining anchored to God, allowing difficulties to build spiritual maturity rather than quitting. Dedicated to all the surfcasters I fish with and meet in the surf 🤙🏽🤙🏽Gear: 10ft @darkmatterfishing surf rod @pennfishing slammer 4500 @darkmatterfishing red head pencil popper 6 3/4” - 2 2/3oz Heavy. #surffishing #striper #anglers #fish #surfcasting

Catching release of nice 31 incher. Been releasing everything over 28 if I did decide to keep fish, I keep them under 28 now trying to let these fish populate and letting them get bigger. @lines_and_hookers #surffishing #striper #angler #fish #catchandrelease

Been doing C&R on all fish over 28 but I do keep fish smaller than that. As a Surfcaster and a Fisherman, I do love eating fish and love sharing with family and friends. I utilize as much fish as I can using every part of it except for the guts so I do love eating striper but I also respect the bigger ones for breeding purposes and giving the next generation a chance to catch them to. #catchandreleaseonly #fishing #angler #fisherman #striper @lines_and_hookers @darkmatterfishing @salty_nutz_fishing_krew
