Alter ego exploring space through light.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Fragments of a moment built from silence, pressure and instinct.

A show shaped in the dark before it became light.

For @elgrandetoto , every image, every movement and every second was created to exist only once.

No template. No limits.
Only energy, vision and impact.

🌙 Feel It · Part II — The Waiting (these videos were shot in July 2023, music is from the original live playback, thank you @linez______ for the amazing mapping magic)

The months that followed this shoot, were slow, uncertain.
I waited for some kind of magic, for the editing to happen, for the song to find its way to the world… but things didn’t go as planned… far from that!

These are fragments from that first video trial, a beautiful mess born from passion, faith, and chaos.
We had no budget, no plan, only love for what we were creating.
One week of shooting, almost nothing usable,
and still, I couldn’t let it go.

Feel It kept echoing in me.
Refusing to rest.
Refusing to fade.

While waiting, I kept creating.
With my dearest @rokoveles, we produced L’Gnaouia Moulati - a beautiful sound we recorded in Tulum with an actual gnbri and flute, but that’s another story.
Returning to Brussels, the obsession to record and to be in the studio couldn’t leave me, with @fefemusic, @yagally_official @mooom.atlantica we made Imagine that was a mix of the cold days of Brussels, a little visit to the underground world, with voices from Morocco, from the future, from Africa, to flamenco, we recorded the drums and the piano, but again that’s a different story.

I started writing more lyrics, more spoken words, exploring new sounds, still trying to make Feel It come alive with Youssef and Roko, but nothing seemed to click.

The months stretched like years.
Hope would fade, then quietly return.
And through it all, one voice kept whispering:

“Keep going.”

Sometimes the waiting is part of the story,
the space where things secretly transform. I now with a bit of perspective feel sad to have never really taken the time to share this baby because I wanted it to be perfect so bad. I kept it from the world. I forgot the reason why art is created, is simply to be shared. The moment you give it birth, it’s not yours to keep. I guess my coming out at the time didn’t really happen yet…

💫 To be continued… Part III - The Fire is coming. Excited to know how the story of “Feel it” turned out ?
