82 new nursing students. One exciting beginning. 🩺

Today, we welcomed 82 new Traditional BSN students to the @linfieldnursing School of Nursing during orientation on our Portland Campus of @linfielduniv

As Dean, I had the honor of spending time with our newest students, sharing some of the history of our School of Nursing—including the legacy of Emily Loveridge—and offering what I hope was some helpful perspective as they begin this journey.

I reminded them that they are not simply starting a nursing program. They are becoming part of a legacy, and someday they will help write its next chapter. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

I am one proud Dean knowing that, in just two years, these amazing students will be entering the nursing profession and carrying the Linfield legacy forward as they care for patients, families, and communities.

Welcome to Linfield. Your journey starts now.

Oops, we missed one! Continuing our #Grad2026 series: meet Kelsie Williams ’26. 🥎🩺

A career-ending softball injury could have changed everything. Instead, it helped Kelsie discover a new path in nursing.

From the pitcher’s circle to patient care, Kelsie brought the same determination, resilience and heart to her nursing education that she once brought to the field.

💜 One of the most meaningful parts of Pinning? The person chosen to "pin."

Every nursing graduate chooses someone special — a parent, partner, grandparent, friend, mentor or professor — to place their nursing pin and celebrate the journey that led to this moment.

Today, 228 Linfield nursing graduates were surrounded by the people who supported them through long study sessions, clinicals and countless challenges. Congratulations to the newest generation of nurses. 👏🎓

🥂 CHEERS! Literally.

A beloved Linfield tradition, Senior Toasts take place after finals on both the McMinnville and Portland campuses. Graduating seniors gather to hear heartfelt toasts from students and faculty and celebrate the start of Commencement Weekend together.
Congrats, grads! #LinfieldGrad2026

nurses spend so much of their time taking care of other people, and we know how easy it is for self care to end up last on the list.

that’s a big reason why we wanted to do this promo in the first place. for the entire month, nurses can receive our get consistent facial for $99 (reg. $129) as a small thank you for everything you do.

whether you’re working long shifts, nights, constantly on your feet, or just pouring into everyone around you all day, we wanted to create something that felt accessible and genuinely worth taking time for yourself.

we love our nurses and are so grateful for the care you give our community every single day 🤍

From classrooms and clinicals to hospitals, clinics and communities around the world, Linfield nurses make an impact every day.

This National Nurses Week, we celebrate our nursing alumni and students in the TBSN, ABSN and MEPN programs as part of Nurses Light Up the Sky — honoring the compassion, resilience and leadership that define The Power of Nurses. ✨

Big thanks to our Wildcats who helped share what college life is really like right now. 💜🐾

From student debt to career paths to the value of a liberal arts degree, our students, faculty and staff joined @opb’s Think Out Loud to be part of an important conversation about higher ed today.

Want to hear the full discussion? 🎧
Head to the Linfield University Facebook page for the link. A group of college students sit around tables in a bright classroom while a live radio discussion is recorded nearby, with microphones, audio equipment and speakers engaging in conversation about higher education.

It has been an honor and a privilege to be with these amazing Linfield University students, leaders and future nurses at the @nsnainc convention in Houston. I am proud of them not only as the @lsna_linfield faculty advisor but also as the Dean of Nursing at @linfieldnursing !! What an amazing time to be around so many enthusiastic future nurses who are passionate about the profession. I know, without a doubt, the profession is in good hands! 🙌
