We kicked off @clements.students Color Clash 2026 last night with signing day and opening ceremony! Our students invited, and the Lord honored those invites with standing room only. And yes, Spiderman was in the house. Let me tell you what you don’t know about this “Spiderman”. He came to Color Clash last year, as a result of an invite from his girlfriend (who’s also in the pic with us). And he kept coming, each week, digging deeper, growing, drawing closer to Jesus and in community, soon becoming a leader in student ministry. And .... this Spiderman was also part of our Oaxaca Mexico mission team this past summer. Did y’all track that? All as a result of one invite just a year ago. That’s the power of influence and the Holy Spirit. And that’s why we do Color Clash! So — if you’re a high school student, this is it. Or if you’re the family of a high school kid who wants to get plugged in and find a church, find community, this is it. Color Clash the next 3 weeks. Message me for details. Jesus is on the move in our student ministry, and we can’t wait to see what happens this month. All for Christ and His Kingdom! (And Spiderman and your damsel in distress - I sure love y’all, and I’m super proud of y’all!)

We had a blast with our @clements.students on the river at the Bruce’s! My man Link brought a timely and genuine word on staying focused on God. And the littles sure had fun too! I love this group of students and adults and serving Jesus alongside all of them. All for Christ and His Kingdom!

This guy shared a message on contentment last night in our student service and did an incredible job! Link absolutely has the touch of God on his life, and he is stewarding it well. And the bonus for me was getting to introduce him after worship. I’ve watched him grow up, was his principal for a few years, and now have the privilege to serve Jesus alongside him. Link - I’m so proud of you and love you brother!

What a weekend @strengthtostand with @clements.students ! It never gets old seeing students.... 1. Respond to the gospel for salvation. 2. Respond to a calling to the ministry. 3. Praise Jesus with hands lifted and tears flowing. 4. Talk about what God is teaching them and have prayer in the hotel lobby. 5. Lock arms in prayer with and over each other. **We have the absolute best students, and they are such an encouragement to me and so many! Thank you Jesus for this weekend; for an amazing group of students who seek to follow You deeper and stronger; for Your Holy Spirit who, as we sang and prayed, came and inhabited our hearts and the room; for Your presence, conviction, exhortation, and community. Thank You Jesus! All for Christ and His Kingdom!

Our @clements.students Christmas party was alot of fun! PJs, pancakes, and human Christmas trees. But the pic that grabs my heart is Braxton and Link zoned in, taking notes, and hanging on to every word Bro. Blake was sharing. Then pan out to lots of others in the room doing the same. Our Advent study has been so powerful. And what a blessing to have a student pastor who doesn’t just go surface level, but takes us deeper in the Word, content, and application. And who doesn’t just challenge, but also equips our students to do the same. And they DO! Y’all would be blown away at the followup questions and conversations we’ve had. We also celebrated this very thing and had a great time of fellowship at our adult leader party, hosted by Camron and Rebecca. Thank you Bro. Blake and Mrs Addison for your eternal investments. What an honor to serve Jesus and our students alongside all of you! Our CBC student ministry is growing wider, but we are also growing deeper. If your kids aren’t involved, or if you’re looking for a church home where your kids can be part of something like this, come join us. All for Christ and His Kingdom!
