AYYYYYYY DOI DOI DUH DOI. New Go Public song out today and it’s a Personal and the Pizzas cover, on a comp of Drew Cramer covers. All $$$ will go to Drew to help with his medical quest. Also it’s his birthday today! Buy the comp - it’s great! It’s on Bandcamp.

vacants forever.

i wrote this 2 weeks ago the night of the ep release:

its currently 3:30 am, im on the couch, just got back from work and finally ate dinner. trying to warm up as my clothes were soaked the whole shift from a crazy storm. dinner consisted of some lunch meat, 2 pieces of cheese, seaweed and popcorn. the lights is officially out.

3 years ago, i joined a new band called images at the time. after covid fizzled my last project, floor four (real ones know), i felt truly lost. everything i wanted in life had been stripped away before it really got the chance to take off. i tried to get things going with my film career, but i had lost my passion for filmmaking as i knew i really just wanted to make music. fortunately, i met 3 truly incredible people and we started working a year or so after that.

these songs really are a labor of love. 3 years of growth and figuring out who we are. while most of these songs dont really reflect where we’re at sonically anymore, we felt they were too good to just throw away. so now they are yours.

special thanks to: my boys marc jeremy and david, sean rawls, my partner lizzie for putting up with us and for making merch (yr the best i love you), floor four, my day ones dfwcg, keron robinson for being a great friend and all the advice/encouragement you’ve given me over the years, anyone i met during my time at criminal records, jalen freeman for genuinely being one of the most supportive people on planet earth, carl janes for putting on our first shows, and anyone who has bought a shirt, poster, came to a show or lended an ear- thank you.

i hope you enjoy and stick around for whats to come. the future is bright, as are the lights.

wow, the lights has been out for a week now. thank you for listening, its been such a long time coming. some of these songs have been in the works for 3 years. huge thanks to @linkedinbile for such a great recording/mixing process, couldnt have done it without you. another huge thanks to our brother @davidwilsn a founding member, a great friend, and a great collaborator, photographer, and so much more. lastly, to anyone who has come to a show, bought a shirt, lended an ear, or helped out in any sort along the way- thank you, we couldn’t do this without you.

we can’t wait to share whats coming next, and we hope to see you in a crowd soon.
