There’s nothing better than spending time with
two amazing women who just get it. 💛
@rachaeleahcar @reggiebirdbb

We’ve each walked our own vision loss journey
- through the highs, the lows, and everything in between -
but what connects us is bigger than what we’ve lost.
It’s the drive to live boldly, to create awareness,
and to keep showing that blindness doesn’t define us.

We’re more than our disabilities - we’re women
with passion, purpose, and plenty of laughter. 💃

And women who love sparkles, style
and to have fun with fashion. 💫

The Blind Australian of the Year Awards 2025
was the perfect reminder that community, confidence,
and connection make life shine even brighter 💛

On October 26th, BTS Aust. had the great pleasure to sponsor and be a part of the @linkvisionau @blind_australianoftheyear Awards for 2024.
Claudia and Jordyn jetted off to Brisbane to be a part of the Community Inclusion Expo and the Awards Gala.

Congratulations to the Blind Australian of The Year Award Winner @courtneywebeck & Employer Of Choice for 2024 @apm.australia 👏 🏆

A fun, inspiring and magical night for all. It is so important that we recognise those who are Blind or have Low Vision who are making incredible contributions to their communities and the world. It’s also as important to support people and businesses, supporting them! We met so many innovative businesses and organisations and made many new friends. It was so powerful to be in a room where the sighted were the minority and really highlighted how many everyday tasks we take for granted are different for our friends who cannot see.

There were endless laughs to be had thanks to host & MC @karannnagrani, singalong’s that have us goosebumps thanks to the talented @rachaeleahcar and the energy and cheek was boosted by the always entertaining @reggiebirdbb.

We cannot wait for a massive 2025 BAOTYA! Bring it on. 🤩
