The burn really said “let me crack you open so you can hold MORE”
more joy
more discomfort
more love
more unknown
more SURRENDER

we don’t come to burning man for it to be comfortable or predictable do we?

the whole point is to play on our edges so that we can be formed by the experience into MORE of what we are.

The beginning of my burn was full of hiccups: F*%ed up braids, missed flights, a man refusing to give me my bike, missing my bday celebration.

When I zoom out, I can see how small these were, but at the time I felt defeat. “This was not what I had planned for”.

THE IRONY WAS
I was set to teach a hypnosis healing workshop on surrender at @maxacamp .

You can imagine the “aha” moment that hit me a day before my class.

You can’t teach about surrender on the playa unless you LIVE IT!

Then the experience opened up ✨The medicine always comes before the teaching.

I got cracked open into surrender and found myself in a beautiful flow of connection, community, and flow.

The class was epic and impactful.

And then when burning man became mud man, I was able to lean in and enjoy this plot twist that we’ll remember forever.

I got stranded on the other side of the playa and had to find refuge at another camp, lost most of my belongings due to a completely flooded tent and can still revel in how beautiful it was to watch a community of people come together to support each other and find the magic in it all.

So thank you burning man
For deepening my trust in myself, in my community, and in the flow of unknown.

What a beautifully wild chapter that was written 🦌🫶✨🌹can’t wait for next year!!

One of the greatest highlights of my burn was playing for this beautiful crowd and many friends during and after the man burn on Saturday night. A huge thank you to @maxacamp @diegopalomar @marcellopisu @fredxpel and everyone that came out to support! A memory that I will never forget 🫶🏼

Tis crazy, Heavier as I thought "Maestro Mendini, Such a small giant who falls over in a day while his roots remain so unassailable and anchored"

Will we be worth to have lived in their shadow? Will we create furtile ground for the next generations like they did? What will come of us in the absense of giants?
