As with everything in my life, I’m slightly late with my bye bye 24 post and I almost couldn’t be bothered because wow this year has been exhausting, but it felt positive to start 2025 with some of the delicious and joyful moments of 2024.

I’ll be honest, it wasn’t a great year for me. I was sick & injured a lot, I lost an old friend at the start of the year in v sad circumstances, my career felt like it had come to a depressing standstill and I had less work/auditions than ever before. My mental health was rocky and we all know what a disaster my winter has been health-wise!! I’m still slowly recovering from surgery and the mental and physical stress has been really, really hard. But I’ve also had some amazing moments. My first job as a movement director, working abroad with gorgeous people, making new connections, quality time in the US w my wife and meeting her family for the first time EVER, plus lots of dancing, lots of mayhem and lots of laughter. 🤪 But most of all, this year was made by incredible friendships. I truly could not treasure the people in my life more. Thanks for causing chaos with me, thanks for taking care of me. I’d be lost without you 💜💜💜

Ain’t nothin’ like hearing laughs & cheers on the big screen of your own production! The utmost gratitude to @lashortsfest for premiering LAST FIRST KISS, our incredible cast/crew, & of course my loved ones for your support. A huge congratulations to all the filmmakers!

And an extra special thank you @l.v.d.f for dripping me head to toe in @final.body & making me feel like my truest self, an Alien Queen 👽

Hold yourself to your own standards everytime. - @zackarydrucker

I’ve given up on my dreams many times in my life. Sometimes because of the vision others had for me. Sometimes because of the distraction of temporary escape methods that no longer serve me. Most of the time I just couldn’t see a clear vision for/of myself. The last couple of weeks have truly felt like the most chaotic rollercoaster ride of my life, full of the highest highs, the lowest lows and unexpected loopty loops. But I wouldn’t change a thing. Well maybe one. But the truth is every single event, conversation, conflict, peak, valley, tear, laugh, etcetera has has informed another in this beautifully cosmic non-linear fashion that is hard to reconcile. I am so grateful. Thank you @outfest. Thank you @lashortsfest . Thank you @actnowla fam & @rainvaldez Thank you @sir_kacy & @beckwillz_ . And so many more. If we’ve spoken in the last few weeks, I’m talking to you especially. You are my family, my collaborators, my future collaborators, and more. And to my Mom, I now know what true freedom feels like. I love you and always will. #queer #actor #nonbinary #nonbinaryfashion #outfest #gay #fslur #lashortsfest First 2 📸: @shan.hafez Earrings: @myfriendmadethese
