People think I listen to musical theatre albums. SURPRISE - I don’t. Ever. Here’s what you’ll find me listening to. I prefer to experience theatre. If I haven’t seen it - I haven’t heard it.

Are any of these on your regular rotation? 🧐

Last night, my amazing husband surprised me with the most beautiful evening, seeing the incredibly talented @liormusic live at the @bris_powerhouse in New Farm.

Lior is a Melbourne-based singer-songwriter whose music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Every song tells a story, filled with meaning, emotion and reflections on life, travel, friendships, family and love.

There’s something so special about music that stays with you through different chapters of your life. Songs that bring back memories, remind you of people and take you right back to moments you thought you’d forgotten. 🥹

One song in particular, This Old Love, has held a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember. It’s a song that has carried me through some of life’s toughest moments, and even now, it gets me every single time.

A little word of advice… don’t play it around me unless you’re prepared to watch me absolutely sob.

What an incredible evening, filled with beautiful music, memories and a few tears.

Thank you, @james.cassidy87 , for knowing just how much something like this would mean to me. I love you. ❤️ x

Gratitude for So many glorious fellow travellers friends and family celebrating the launch of the @what.ive.learnt podcast gems book I’m completely overwhelmed by the love in the room reflecting on the kaleidoscope of designers writers authors musicians journalists lawyers doctors artists philanthropists entrepreneurs healers and dreamers taking time to connect and listen to the stories of universal humanity.

We all need connection right now away from the noise the beat of the news cycle and the heartache of the global throb and here in this room we listened to gorgeous @janebadlerworld speak her truth about grief strength hope while the soothing sounds of musicians @liormusic @official_paulgrabowsky lulled us into calm followed by the talented author journalist @rachelleunr interviewing me on that vintage red velvet couch about lessons learnt and @what.ive.learnt podcast. Thank you to the generous community who filled the room with love and support🙏📘

ALBUM RELEASE DAY!! A quirky, messy, vulnerable, alt-country, dark folk collection about unlearning all the things I was taught to be in relationships.

So many wonderful people to thank. It’s a huge undertaking completing an album over the past 3 years.

@jethromakesmusic for your production, mix, master. You are incredible at what you do.

@jamesmcguffiemusic for your mentoring, songwriting, production, mixing and friendship! @forestcreekrecords is just a delight to create in.

@boonysaxman and @damiencharles for your work on Tell Me Your Story

@netherbymusic for your feature on Stay With Me

My band @ashmaclean.music @sarah_j_cameron and @paigeduggan_studios for bringing these songs to life!

@tomharringtonmusic for giving me my first support act gig and kick start!! Hopefully many more to come 😉

@kdevilsonhorseback and @abccountryaustralia for your initial support when I had no idea what I was doing. You really helped with my belief in myself in those early days!! I didn’t ever think I’d be here now with an album!!

@stuartcoupe for your wonderful support and being the best PR man in the biz.

@liormusic for your continued support and mentoring. Very grateful

@creativecityballarat for all your local support with be hear now, gigs and and encouragement.

@alana__burgess @paigeduggan_studios for this awesome album cover and artwork!!

@t.sydney_photography for the clips, photo shoots and hours you spent on this 🙏

All of the community radio legends who have picked up these tracks and interviewed me.

And to everyone who has listened to my music, bought my merch, come to a show, hosted a show, gave us the opportunity to play in your venue or supported my crazy music pursuits THANK YOU!!
