What an honor to get to encourage the next generation. I had the privelege to speak at our campus wide Gathering @lipscombuniversity this week. Each student & human in this world is gifted, has passions, and a personality intended to bless others. Your yes, abounds in Christ and has a powerful ripple effect in your life & others. Embrace your becoming, find your being in Jesus. Let His Holy Spirit enliven and empower your life to be a 10 out of 10 in this world. Put on your breastplate of Righteousness & stand in the confidence of knowing you are Divinely approved (see last pic for metaphor of what that confidence can feel like). 😉 if interested, you can listen to the message linked in my bio.

1 Peter 4:10-11

Thank you @brenthigh @philiphutcheson @lipscombbisonssf for saying yes to OB & I years ago. Grateful for God’s faithfulness and His abounding promises.

As students start their academic year, it's a Lipscomb tradition to start the new school year in prayer.

For 24 consecutive hours, people will be praying for every student, faculty member and staff member by name. Everyone is encouraged to participate at any time and as often as you can!

They will also be praying for your specific requests through the form in our bio.

We’re back! We started the week with a great new school year kicking off at Lipscomb Academy. I loved running into our football coaches as we are readying for the first @lipscombacademy football game in the coming weeks. This week was also full of several days of new faculty orientation at Lipscomb University. I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with them as they start their journey at Lipscomb. Then, I had the privilege of speaking with our University Resident Assistants as they prepare for the year and Move-in for our new students beginning on Monday! On Thursday, we opened the school year with all our employees at the Opening Team Meeting where we gave Impact 360 updates focusing on the theme of Growth and Student Flourishing. Thanks to Darwin Mason, Jr. for leading our worship as we opened with song. Then, Friday was a time with faculty at the Opening Faculty Meeting where we focused on the theme of Flourishing on the Brink of Change and did a deep dive into AI. I also had the pleasure of sharing seven principles of leadership with our student leaders on campus as they prepared for the year. The week ended with our new Pharmacy students and their White Coat Ceremony! It was a pleasure to have partners from Vanderbilt Medical Center with us including Dr. Wright Pinson who provided our keynote address. Next week is a big week with our new students on campus! Praying for all of you as we start our year!
