POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thoughtful Thursday:
I’m Failing My Story — a poem

I wrote this after a few days of feeling like I was failing my story.

Not because I stopped believing in the book.

Because I started measuring that belief against views, likes, sales, pre-orders, reach, algorithms and all the other numbers that come with being an indie author.

So this one is for every writer who has ever loved their story fiercely and still wondered whether they were the wrong person to bring it into the world.

And because publishing can feel lonely, I’m tagging a few authors/creators I genuinely love following. People whose work, honesty, humor or support make this whole thing feel a little less solitary.

If you’re a reader looking for new authors to root for: go say hi to them too.

🎉 Happy 30th Birthday, Lisa! 🎉

Wow… 30! I’m so thankful for you, Lisa. You’ve been there through the past years — through thick and thin — always showing up, always bringing joy, laughter, and love wherever you go. 💛

You’re one of the most joyful, artsy, beautiful, and hardworking people I know. You inspire everyone around you just by being yourself. You love people so deeply and so well — and that’s such a rare gift.

Here’s to more laughter, more growth, more creative adventures, and more of God’s goodness in your 30s. You’re truly one of a kind. 💫

Love ya Mona/Lisa 😜

My Skin is my first Short Film that I wrote, directed and edited.
We shot the whole thing on a Saturday in 4 hours and I can’t wait to share it with the world.
Obviously it’s not perfect and a work in progress but I am super proud of that piece.
A Big shoutout to

Million Month

I’m still processing all that has happened. A year of preparation, prayer, and more, which led to seeing people saved. I don’t think I can fathom the impact that the Million Month is having and will have on Europe and me.
I was able to lead the Amsterdam part of it, and it was an honor to be trusted to do this! But the best thing about it was that I could do it with a bunch of friends around me, new and old ones. Seeing all of them grow into more boldness, freedom, and courage was a gift!

I especially want to mention my core team: @timo_noppe, @lisaaithnard, @daveyvanzon & @marvinelandu. Without you, it would’ve been way harder to do all this, also because it wouldn’t have been as fun (we laughed a lot, specifically about pickles…)

Thank you to everyone who joined us on the streets, during the evenings, or in prayer from a distance.

If you want to hear testimonies or stories about the last few weeks, feel free to comment, send a message, or look at @million_month_amsterdam

Here’s a fun overview of some of the pictures
1. On outreach
2. Taking time to sit with people and encouraging them about faith is one of my favorite things to do
3-5 My beautiful friends on outreach
6- 7 Beautiful worship and shenanigans in between
8-9 similar to previous, but this time with my amazing assistant @timo_noppe (ps our team could read each other like a book with all the "faces" we made)
10. Lastly (but most importantly) to God
Thank you, God, for giving me opportunities to learn, grow, and build Your Kingdom. Thank you for taking my Yes and the Yes of others to change lives. Thank you for the work of the cross and for saving me from so many things. Without your love and offer, I wouldn't be here right now. Your Joy is my strenght

So this is something i usually don’t do, i mean posting Musik related Content, but this one is Special to me.

This is my Friend Lisa @lisaaithnard i’ve known her for 6 years now and i Must say She’s one of the Most Talented Human i know.

I know there are a lot of talented Singers and Songwriters out there but Lisa is just Special, and i feel this Gift and Talent shouldn‘t be hidden anymore 🙈. I feel good and blessed anytime i listen to Lisa Sing, and this is one of my Favourite Songs from her.
