@LisaBestComic is largely responsible for my being a music photographer. Years ago, we both worked at a veterinary hospital where we immediately bonded as sarcastic war-buddies. While I was wasting time taking photos of my dog humping hers, she was working tirelessly to hone her stand up at several open mic’s per night. She is one of the most driven people I’ve ever known and one of the most loyal friends one can hold onto. She implored me to start a blog and take photography more seriously - earnest encouragement I’m glad to have absorbed and ran with. She’s always one of my biggest supporters and I hers. Although Lisa can be the funniest and goofiest kid in the candy store, literally, she is also incredibly clever, thoughtful, and serious about her work. And not only that, she was the primary singer/songwriter of a long-defunct project called VISION which, sadly, the music industry will never savor. I feel truly privileged to have captured her character. 📷

10 photos from New Years in Big Sur. Lucky to have been extra careful so that we could share a sprawling and squeaky clean air bnb with a couple of our best and most quarantined friends for 2 nights to ring in 2021. Incredible ocean view, magical grounds, and nary another human in sight. Together we enjoyed s’mores, jenga, incessantly checking the dogs for ticks, champagne, cookies, and no cell service. Will be tough to leave but looking forward to a better beginning to a dragging end. 🌅 🍀

I spent all day learning how to make a Tik Tok to promote tomorrow’s show. Does this make me a millennial?
