Fresh pasta class at @collegeofcharleston with @cofcintentionality club!!! 🍝

My mom, @lisafureyinteriors, and I were invited to speak with students and lead a fresh pasta class, making a simple, seasonal, budget friendly tagliolini with vegetables and Parmigiano.

We talked entrepreneurship, intentionality, and the importance of staying the course. As a 2019 graduate, giving back to the College and helping students find joy, camaraderie, and inspiration is so meaningful!

Just like making pasta dough, sometimes life doesn’t look like it’s coming together riiiiight away. You have to add a lil bit, keep working the dough, and trust that it’ll turn out delicious. You gotta enjoy the learning process, because it never ends!

These students were a delight. Polite, attentive, and fun. They are up to somethin’ good at the @cofcintentionality club! Thank you (grazie mille 🇮🇹) for having us!!!

Check out our After and Before “lite” Reno, in progress @springislandsc.
Confronted with red brick walls and rust stained concrete floors, heavy “industrial” looking architecture, as well as an awkward island layout, I worked with my clients to freshen up their new home. Furniture, LOTS of rugs, new lighting and paint will help to pull it all together. We also freshened up all of the bathrooms with new lighting and wallpaper and sourced and procured furniture for the whole home, inside and out, to update and personalize each room. Last, these fun and trusting folks will arrive on island with many beloved antiques and cherished pieces which have been woven into their overall scheme for a collected and cozy home.

Homemade spaghetti with a pancetta and tomato sauce for my mom’s birthday! Pancetta, aka cured pork belly from @tedsbutcherblock, adds richness and a delightful flavor to the tomato sauce. I first cubed the pancetta, then cooked it in my pan with @olindaolivescharleston olive oil, a chopped onion, garlic, tomato paste, red chili flakes, and tomato passata, which is a uncooked and strained tomato puree. Tomato passata is an important staple in my pantry, and I recommend adding it to yours, too! I stirred in Parmesan rinds and bay leaves, which of course, you must remove prior to serving. You can keep Parmesan rinds in your freezer for when you need them. They add flavor to soups, sauces, braises, and more.

I was able to make this sauce ahead of time, as well as the fresh noodles (dusted in semolina flour), store them separately, and then once I arrived at my moms, dinner was ready within minutes. We had more time to catch up rather than washing dishes. Pasta and sauce travel well. Love you, @lisafureyinteriors.

A five star review that made our whole team's week. ⭐

When we designed, wrote and launched the new website for Lisa Furey Interiors, a boutique design studio in Bluffton, South Carolina, the goal was simple: a site that finally matches the quality of the work inside it.

Swipe to see the website behind this review, and why presentation now decides who high-value clients call first. The last slide explains how AI search fits in, because homeowners are already asking ChatGPT and Google who to hire.

If your studio has outgrown its website, we will take a private and honest look at your site, your Google presence and how AI search sees you.

DM the word REVIEW with your studio name, website and city.

Our new Flooring is complete and blends beautifully with the original heart pine. Custom tile is being installed. Appliances tomorrow then it’s almost showtime!

A blending of his and hers style with particular attention paid to family friendly and kid proof materials. This beloved project started as an extensive, whole house renovation and then the scope grew to furnishing almost the entire house. Great project, awesome family.

Progress @springislandsc Reno! We are in the homestretch, the team is first rate and everyone is playing very nicely in the sandbox. Eager to wrap up and turn these spaces over to my clients/friends.

The AFTER and the BEFORE of our Primary Bath at Old Tabby Cottage. We swapped out the mold and rats for a beautiful custom vanity and linen cabinet designed with love by you know who and crafted by the team @village_handcrafted. I skipped the giant glass shower wall for a cozy alcove shower with a view out to the marsh. And yes, the floors are engineered wood. With proper care and ventilation, they will last forever and have a warmth no tile or stone ever will. I’m a fan, but I understand they are not for everyone.
