September always feels like the beginning of a new season in the atelier. 🍂

From the archive: summer greens slowly giving way to autumn color, painted on clear acrylic and layered with dazzling bronze typography. A wedding save the date caught somewhere between two seasons.

A little fall inspiration as we officially turn the page on summer.

Sports Week 2026 was amazing!! Finally got to meet @michaelrubin backstage at the ESPYs and talked about our epic collaboration during Cannes Lions with @fanatics and @lechateaucannes.

Had the opportunity to attend the ESPYs with @d.ham3, one of the best humans I’ve ever met.

Spoke onstage with @dhar.mann and Prisca Sanchez, VP of Marketing at Global Citizen about the phenomenal work that we did together around the World Cup halftime show, produced by Global Citizen.

Attending The World Cup with my favorite person, @lisalaffertyevents. ❤️

At @fanatics Fest with the King of Leather, Jeff Hamilton and my brother, Ryan Detert.

Our awesome creator crew that we worked with for the Global Citizen World Cup Halftime Show. This was on Saturday at the dress rehearsal for the halftime show.

Dinner with @d.ham3 the night I arrived, before all the madness!

@lebron talking about where he came from and his humble upbringing in Akron. This was Boardroom’s VIP event on day one of Fanatics Fest.

The best canine traveler I know, @cavalierkingbowie.

The best way to cap off any post, the queen, @lisalaffertyevents.

Cannes Lions #4 was an unparalleled triumph for me and our team.

In a year when more than 500 creators descended on the Croisette (in the company of Oprah), a big narrative emerging from the festival is that executives, more than ever, need to behave like creators themselves, being undeniably visible across stages, platforms, and content.

But at @markallenco, we already knew that.

After months of rigorous prep and leveraging priceless relationships, we showed up with 76 speaking opportunities and 11 curated panels on 18 different stages. Our clients could be seen and heard in virtually every corner of Cannes, competing with the best in the biz as thought leaders and OG creators, showing up and showing receipts for brilliance.

This is the future, in close-up: IRL. Visibility. Transparent creative business. Irreplaceable and undeniable. It’s one thing to attend this scale of activation; it’s quite another to mount it, and we worked ceaselessly to ensure success and over-deliver. Thanks to our team, clients, partners and peers, it will continue to pay off.

For me, rarely am I more alive or hyped than when working in Cannes. Even in grossly oppressive heat, this is the greatest work week of the year, when my body and brain can’t stop buzzing. And this time, the entire experience was leveled up. I had five of my team members there; clients to bond with; future clients to meet; countless friends and faces to see; and great new minds to connect with, from Shelly Palmer and Brian Collins to Julie Thompson and Angela Hunte.

For all of your success, be visible. Show up. Tell stories. Tell everyone. And dress accordingly. xx

@lechateaucannes year one is complete and my heart is full!! @ryandetert and I had this crazy dream that we could shift the paradigm at Cannes Lions and create an exclusive environment of industry leaders, artists, and creators unlike anything before it, and I strongly believe that with Le Chateau we did just that.

Thank you to our family, friends, colleagues, and talent for believing in us and supporting us in this mission. Also, thank you to @magalie_thabuis_bourassin and the phenomenal @chateaulacroixdesgardes team for being such wonderful hosts. Your service, dedication, and attention to detail is otherworldly.

And thank you to our event partners @jobyaviation, @nadine.dietz, @femalequotient, @shelly.palmer, @thediaryofaceopodcast, @fanatics, @discord, @pubity, @tequilakomos, @ciroc, and @pernodricard for your partnership and support.

Special thanks to our partners at @youtube and to the incomparable @janellemonae for absolutely rocking the chateau. The pool will never be the same!!

And last, but certainly not least, thank you to my beautiful and amazing wife, @lisalaffertyevents, who produced the best event I’ve ever seen. We truly could not have done this without you. ❤️
