Have you ever thought about starting a yoga practice, only to hesitate because you feel your body is “too stiff,” or because waking up at 5:00 AM feels impossible? You’re not alone.

For many, traditional practice can feel intimidating from the outside. But yoga wasn’t meant for people who are already flexible—it was created to help us find space, strength, and ease exactly where we are.

In Stockholm, over 45 new students began their journey through the Active Series in a single term, building confidence, breath connection, and consistency at their own pace.

Whether you are looking for a gentle entry point or a sustainable routine, the Active Series welcomes you exactly as you are.

👇 Drop a “🌿” in the comments if you’ve ever felt too stiff for yoga!

📩 DM us at activeseries@sharathyogacentre.com if you are interested in knowing more about the series.

I went to Stockholm for 9 days to practice with Peter Sanson at @yogashalastockholm . Peter is coming to their shala for the last 17 years. The shala is run by my friend @lisalaler and her sister Lotta. Great community of ashtanga practitioners and a dedicated space for practice.
Peter is not on social media and his workshops are not even listed on his website. You have to be a Sherlock Holmes to find him. He is a student of Patthabi Jois, from the generation of ashtanga teachers that are slowly disappearing. More focus on prana, the energy body, releasing emotions and less focus on performance.
Stockholm is an amazing city, with friendly people and interesting history. I had fun visiting many museums, learning about Vikings and Nordic history and taking much needed rest. Surrounded by nature and inspired by the healthy way of living there. Extra bonus @dalibormaurer visited me for a weekend as it was his birthday and went for a practice with me ✨
