Counting down the days to the end of a season and the start of a new exciting journey.

Last night was the official going away gathering for me and the people I've met since moving here ten years ago. Boy time flies. Each one of these people has a supporting role in this chapter of my life. There are several others missing, but know your role is just as significant.

Thank you ALL for loving me, being my ear, my social committee, and my friend. I love you all. They wouldn't let me cry last night, but I did sneak a few tears in.
I'm going to miss you guys, but we will see each other soon! It's time for Marla to go create greatness on her own!

We had a time last night. Girlfriend time is always just what the doctor ordered, and when @justjewels4u, @lisam_styleeditor, and myself get together, it's just like a group of carefree young girls! Listen, I swear I haven't been out in ATL in FOREVER *except for Johnny's Hide Away*, where EVERYONE was there to DANCE. And dance we did; we danced with each other, with strangers, and all by ourselves!

DJ Kemit's "Kickin Up Dust at Westside Motor Lounge was such a groove, such a serious vibe, and it was all OLD SCHOOL. Not to mention, the Prince songs played back to back to back in tributeto his birthday... WHEW! When this particular song came on, I forgot I was in a room full of people!

We outside all summer!

We sung along and danced in our seats. @thewizbway returns to the stage at @thefoxtheatre It’s an all new Broadway musical adaptation with a modern twist to an all time classic. Great performance, love the choreography and the set designs. This show really took me back to my childhood. I also enjoyed hearing R&B artist @deborahcox perform.

Definitely grab your tickets! The show is here through November 19.
