oh dance, where do i even start? Closing this chapter is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. Competitive dance has taught me discipline, confidence, resilience, and so much more than I ever expected. Thank you to my teachers, teammates, family, and everyone who supported me along the way. Every rehearsal, every competition, every memory will always have a special place in my heart. This isn’t goodbye to dance, it is goodbye to a chapter i will never forget. ♾️💝

I just feel so incredibly grateful for my @infinitydanceacademyin family.

To the students, parents, faculty, and @casiabaisa, it’s obvious how much I love you and how much I love this studio. You feel like home to me and I’m so proud of what we did this season, together. 🤍

Many generations of studio alumni and the woman that has provided constant love, support, guidance and encouragement to each of us, inside the dance studio and out. One day 17 or so years ago I watched my sisters dance class taught by Casia and knew I wanted to learn from her. Most kids start dancing very young, but I joined in during my worst teenage years and she put up with it all (and she was just a baby herself). I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully express how thankful I am for all that she has done for me and a whole lot of other kids too. It goes so far beyond teaching dance, my core values as a person were and honestly continue to be shaped by her. One thing I can do is show up and support her whenever I have the opportunity. This studio will always be family. Distance and time apart have not and will not change that. I love you Casia. Thank you for being a bright guiding light in a world that can be so dark.

Checked a new city off the list and visited Milwaukee this weekend with Evie for another dance competition. Took a trip up the shore, visited downtown Milwaukee, and stayed in a definitely haunted Bed and Breakfast.
Our team showed up, looked incredible, and took home the Elite Studio of Excellence award for the weekend, as well as second in the In10sity Challenge (highest combined scores for the weekend). So proud of these girls.
Solos looked the best they’ve looked all season earning Evie In10se platinums for both solos and 2nd overall for Willkommen.
As always a huge thanks to @casiabaisa & @infinitydanceacademyin as well as @angiejmontgomery @julia.petrone @lisameissner_ & the wizard behind the curtain- @mar_mac97 for holding down the fort this weekend. 🖤🖤🖤

2025 Nationals days 2 and 4 (Sheila didn’t dance day 3) are complete. Over the course of three days @dancer_sheila_c danced 10 dances, earned 5 Crystals, 5 Double Platinums, 6 top tens, and 2 dances will compete again tomorrow during the America Loves to Dance awards.

I somehow missed a picture of her in her “What is it I’ve Become” costume, but that amazing dance was choreographed by @official.hmg! And I can’t forget that @grace_mccarty co-choreographed Vain! (She just wasn’t here for the picture!)

Thank you @infinitydanceacademyin for an unforgettable season and @goshowstopper for an awesome week!
