For One Night Only (2025, written and directed by Tobin Carter): SYNOPSIS: Six months after the loss of Quinn’s childhood best friend Alex, Quinn returns home from college for the holidays. However, at a party, he meets a girl who could pass as Alex’s doppelgänger, forcing Quinn to confront his unchecked grief.

When I was at college, there were so many people from home I found myself missing desperately, and it was so easy to try to build relationships with new people off of foundations you created with someone else. But I learned you can’t masquerade as a ghost in somebody else’s life, and learning that was such a valuable moment in my life.

Going into this film I was incredibly daunted. I wanted a Christmas movie, to shoot in July. I had written some of my most complex characters to date. There were so many locations. It would require a huge crew. Yet somehow I got so lucky, and I got the best team imaginable to bring this film to life! I’m so so excited for everyone to see this one — I’m so beyond proud of it.
