Finally, women offer that special touch to things that reflect class, and dignity. They often put that final piece in place by bringing something we overlooked or didn’t see. Let use this time to respect their vision. God bless and keep pushing. #womenshistorymonth

Kids are tense because it’s the end of the year and have tried to work and meet expectations all year. You’re tired because you dealt with so many personalities and transitions throughout the year all while trying to accomplish the mission of your classroom and school. When you feel the tension getting high, what do you do to release some tension before the pressure cooker pops? #teachers #educators #educatorsafespace #teacherdiscourse #educationaldialogue #teacherselfcare #teacherreflection #icec #educationconsulting #teacherfeedback #practicalknowledge #teachercare

We can’t save the world in one day. Please find the time, set the boundaries, and do what you need for your health. We only get one shot so let’s make it last.

Take some time to stop and reflect, refresh, and reevaluate. Things may be going a million miles a minute but unless you stop, you’ll miss what’s important.

There are so many things that we could include here but we wanted to focus a little more on these that we stated. 1. An SEL toolbox, it includes strategies (journaling, painting, exercising, talking with a therapist, etc…) that can help you stay healthy focused and balanced. 2. An objective ear. Someone who can offer feedback that causes you to reflect on practice without giving you the answers. Keep pushing folks! #teachers #educators #educatorsafespace #teacherdiscourse #educationaldialogue #teacherselfcare #teacherreflection #icec #educationconsulting #teacherfeedback #practicalknowledge #teachercare

Welcome educators! ICEC is starting a new series where we put out a “Question of the week,” and take direct feedback from educators who chime in. Walt and I will also answer the question and further expound on the topic once comments come in. This may start some much needed dialogue around these topics which can hopefully lead to resolutions. Our first question for educators is:
“What are two things every teacher needs?”
