WILD THINGS party featured in @flauntmagazine and @galore. 🐍⚔️🦁

“I have covered nightlife long enough to have watched a genuine contraction. Queer rooms have been closing across the country for a decade, absorbed, priced out, or quietly straightened into something more legible to a landlord. San Diego has felt that loss as acutely as anywhere.

What Jeff Jordan has built at Castle Ferreira is not a venue in the commercial sense and does not behave like one. It is a private house that he has given over, repeatedly and at real expense, to the proposition that queer people should have somewhere to be enormous in. The invitation is guarded for exactly that reason. Doors that select are doors that protect.” - @rhisharp from @flauntmagazine

“DJing in a castle in full drag—to an intimate room of people right after a pop star performs—is a feeling that just can’t be replicated. The room is electric with energy, and it’s easily one of my favorite dance floors to play because almost everyone stays until the very last song. My style as a DJ is all about playing in the moment and taking people on a journey that matches the magic of the night.” - @flabbergast4eva in @galore
