The other day, we were standing in our store at night, just the two of us. It still felt surreal, calling this place home. Wild, honestly!

Ensō has been evolving for 8 years now. Eight.
What started as a side thing grew out of our passion for vintage, quality clothing, and wanting to have a positive impact on how people consume fashion and perceives second hand.
We had big ideas and a lot of uncertainty. The challenges were there, but the energy was bigger.

Together with a growing, incredibly talented and committed team, we keep the dream dreaming.
And none of it happens without you.
Family, friends, customers, community, our people.

Thank you for trusting us with your time and support, and for being part of this from the start.

2020 — First ever studio in Nieuwe Herengracht, recording a documentary about positive impact, life changing decisions and how to build a better planet together.

2020 — early times photoshoot (we were so nervous for that one!) with @joyvgeerestein

2022 — This is how it felt to get a bigger studio, which unexpectedly became a store!
Who remembers Ensō in de pijp? You’re one of the og’s then 🤍

2020 — Upcycling kick off, wrap and cuff shirt prototype. Giving our identity shape into our own product felt so good.
This shirt is still a favorite, still in stores nowadays.

2023 — Upcycling 2.0, captured the process, the ideas and the results with @lyannevbodegom.
Forever thankful for that project together

In the whole meantime, not only Ensō grew but our own families did.
We both became moms, and being through both journeys together is one of the best things ever happened.

2021 — website in full bloom, orders coming in.

To celebrate Vinterior’s launch in the Netherlands, we headed to the city to meet some of the people shaping its creative scene, starting with Andrea and Liseth, the founders of @enso.vintage

For the first episode of Design Dialogues, we stepped inside their Amsterdam store to talk vintage fashion and furniture, finding beauty in the unexpected, conscious consumption and why great design never really goes out of style.

Expect plenty of beautiful vintage, a very special chair (or two), and a conversation about giving great pieces a second life.

Born in Amsterdam in 2019, from a shared feeling that fashion could be slower, more considered.
That great pieces outlast trends, and that a place built around that idea was worth making.

2 days ago we had our first @nota.gathering at the beautiful designer vintage store @enso.vintage in Amsterdam. As a founder you start from zero. Events like this are such a humble way to present your vision. To serve our tea to friends from the industry whose taste I respect so much. Co founder of @enso.vintage Andrea Garcia texted me that evening: Was beautiful from preps till end!

To see such a GREAT people we have in common all together, the real interest and warm support that came from them feels unreal

Thank you Anouk for making us part of such an important moment for Nōta and yourself

Your concept is amazing, something to be real proud of! It made me feel so proud. I would love to thank both @lisethlee and @andrea__gsa from @enso.vintage for their support and passion, thanks for welcoming us and support me in visualizing my vision.
