🧶My current WIP! I started the Sunny Tee by @lison.knits about a month ago and I feel like I’ve made a good amount of progress! I’m using 3.75mm needles and the yarn is a silk wool blend! My only goal is to finish it before spring so if anything I’m ahead of schedule lol!

💭What craft are you working on right now?

Had a ton of yellow Drops Safran yarn leftover from my Julie Top and so I made the Tide Top by @lison.knits and a tank top version of the reversible Carrie Sweater by @kolibri.by_johanna that I made in black with long sleeves earlier this year. And guess what I still have more Drops Safran left! As we enter fall get ready for more sweaters coming your way!

another finished knit project! this is the #algaebralette from @lison.knits in a *gorgeous* sock superwash that i got at @oshenknitsandfibres in astoria 🪸 i also recently modified these jeans to make them wide legged.

this was such a fun knit project and i learned so much! so much ribbing, the dart details, cup shaping! my only mods were extending the length and crossing the straps in the back (+ machine sewed them on!) this project took me just over a month and only used 42g worth of yarn.

i had recently bought another pair of my favorite jeans from everlane after my last 2 pairs broke 🫥 wanted to make these ones w i d e with denim from a pair of jeans from goodwill. weeee !

Finished this tee earlier in the summer, and it was a nice palate cleanser. I love the shape, and have gotten quite a bit of wear out of it already.

I recently learned a trick for rolled edges- Purl one row, then continue knitting 4 rows of stockinette before your bind off…..and voila! Your hem won’t roll up more than you want it to. ❤️

Someone here just eloped in Scotland with her person and this is my post-elopement outfit 🤍

I wanted to prolong the celebration during our elopement weekend, so a week before, I started hunting for the perfect post-elopement look. And then it hit me, let’s knit something quick ! (while my WIPs judge me 👀)

I already have the Puno fino in ivory from @majogarn ready to be cast on for the #tulipsweater from @lison.knits and it felt perfect for the outfit

I knew it was supposed to be a fast knit on 6mm needles but I also thought I might be delusional. But still, I cast on a Wednesday night at 9pm, knowing it had to be finished and packed by the following Wednesday. I could only knit on planes and trains, but not really during the day as I was travelling with a dear friend. That is why I left two skeins at home thinking I wouldn’t be that fast and I was wrong … Another thing was, there would be no time to block it properly.

But I did it ! 🥳 Six days and a quick steam block to hold it together 💨

I love it so much, such a simple yet classy piece to wear as is. The perfect way to stretch a dreamy elopement into a whole weekend of celebrating our love ❤️ ✨

Ps : look how cute my bouquet from @wee_wild_botanic is, I hope I’ll bring it back home in one piece !

Pps : can’t wait to block it properly to have the perfect sleeves length !

I’ve been going out of my way to make Autumn more inspiring by planning some projects that really excite me 🍁🧵 it’s not that I don’t like the autumn vibes, but I hate the short days, dark nights and colder weather & some how by the time winter comes along, I am in joggers/ jeans & a jumper most days with more depresso than espresso ☕️

So this year I’ll be filling my days with plenty cozy projects & cute crafts to keep me inspired as well as some new pieces to add to my autumn winter wardrobe 🧶 especially now I have got the knitting bug, to make some cute fun jumpers at least!

Immer wieder Mittwochs 🌀🥝

Ich mag meine Projekte gerade voll!
Und wie @marleneskram gesagt hat, Stricken hilft sich als Sommerkind trotzdem auf den Herbst zu freuen.

..naja FREUDE ist vielleicht too much 😂
