POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Do you express your creative spirit with a junk journal, scrap book, or vintage embellishments on your Christmas packages? Then, you are at the right place! Swipe to see a few of the goodies I’m bringing to this Friday’s Ephemera Sale!

Starting at 9:00 a.m. EST, I will post lots of great ephemera inspiration packs. This is just a sampling. If you’d like a tag for a particular sale, OR the entire sale, comment below.

I’d love it if you’d take a minute to let me know your favorite. Do the darker creams, aged laces, and 19th century Santa and children speak to you? Or, is mid-century jolly Santas and reds and greens your vibe?

Hope this mid-week “Hump Day” is filled with happy moments!

XOXOXO,
Jackie 🥰

Whoooooo do you decorate for? The little owl in the hutch wants to know? 🦉

I decorate for just me. And, if you happen to stop by my IG account, you too! 🎃

This hutch is in an out of the way area of my home that I use as a bit of a studio. Soon, it will be filled with elves and Santa mugs! If a friend stops by who I feel will appreciate my goodies, I have them “take a look”, but usually it’s just myself and the cat that walks by and stops to admire. 🦉🐈‍⬛🧡

Two things of note. I will have a few posts for Monday’s @bundiful_squares. You might want to take a peek around 9:00 a.m. EST. Check out this evening’s sneak peek of my offerings for Monday!

AND, I am part of the Virtual Flea Market Saturday Sale on October 17th, at 9:00 a.m. EST. I’m sharing the list of vendors below, with preview posts coming this Tuesday! See my Storie for one of my favorite treasures coming to VFMS!

It’s a beautiful day in Ohio. I’m off to watch my seven-year-old granddaughter play soccer. Nothing better than watching six and seven-year-olds chase a ball around a soccer field. I am energized just watching them! 😄⚽️

Happy Saturday!!
XOXO,
Jackie 🎃

No. Not here yet. But, there is light at the end of the tunnel. 🙏

Many of you know that my life has involved a lot of caregiving these past few years. My 92 year-old father passed away in late February. In addition, it was our son’s senior year. I cleaned out 70 years of family treasures from my father’s home in the spring, then hostessed a graduation party in June. We then staged my father’s home for resale this summer,, and recently cleared it completely so the new owners could take possession on September 13th. For those who have gone through this bittersweet process, it is a LOT! I have one final attorney’s appointment this week, then praying I will be looking at this challenging time of my life in the rearview mirror. If you happen to be caring for a family member, God bless you. I send you peace, love, and mental, physical, and spiritual strength.

I hope to return to selling this coming week. I have some fun holiday bundles set aside, as well as a great sale coming with moodier fall vibes. Like many of you, my business provides necessary income, with the wonderful bonus of staying in touch with good friends and customers, and a little bit of IG “therapy” for good measure!

Have a wonderful week, friends!!

Happy September!! I know so many are anticipating the fall season! I am, too! Crunchy leaves, cooler temps, sweater weather, I’m in! 🍂🍁

Fall Sale Alert! Swipe for preview! This Thursday!
🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂

To kick off September, my purchase of two pairs of pretty fall-vibe curtains inspired me to put together a sale of a few vintage curtains and antique quilts. Stop back Thursday morning at 9:00 p.m. EST to find a few treasures. Everything is in great condition and ready to find a spot in your home.

Friends, I’m always happy to tag or send additional preview pictures! Let me know how I can help! 🍂

Lastly, if you have a moment to share this post, I’d greatly appreciate it! I’ve been busy “settling up” my father’s estate, and I find the algorithm gets its feelings hurt when I can’t post constantly. 😁

XOXO,
Jackie 🎃

Welcome back to -Jackieland-, Part 2!
If you’re stepping out of your Time Travel machine, you have landed in Jackiendland, a world of my own creation; north of Mayberry and west of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. The way life should be.

Today, we’re off to the Jackieland Library for travel and adventure with my original literary family, The Happy Hollisters. ❤️

To begin.
I grew up in a home that was loud and chaotic. I was a quiet little girl, already in my own little world. My father encouraged my love of reading. His escape during a difficult childhood was books. It would become mine. In third grade, my father enrolled me in a subscription book club, the Happy Hollisters. For 1.25 a month, I would receive a new copy of the adventures of the Hollister family. From the first chapter, I was hooked. A busy, but orderly home, reliable adults, fun-loving siblings, in a rambling old house on the shore of Pine Lake. The Hollister children, ages 4-12, lived a life of constant travel and adventure. The five children, (well, six of you count me), found mysteries to solve everywhere they went. I jumped right into that wood paneled station wagon as they traveled the U.S. and sometimes the world. I had found my tribe and was forever more a Happy Hollister!

I still have a full library of every Happy Hollister book, thanks to a dear friend, who gifted me the entire collection one Christmas!!!! Can you imagine!? Best gift ever!

Of course, my reading tastes have evolved. As an adult, I always look for age-appropriate Happy-Genre authors and books. I’m kind of a 50 Shades of Gray-cious sort of reader. As an empath and want-to-save-the-world kind of “girl”, I seek security and comfort in what I read for pleasure. I’ll let our 24/7 news cycle provide reality, I’m off to find wonder, whimsy, and a sliver of bliss.

If you are looking to create a cocoon in your corner of the world, swipe to see many of my favorite authors and illustrators.

With love and gratitude from Jackieland! You keep stopping by and I’m delighted. I love your beautiful spirits and continuing support!

As you know, my occasional reels are wonky, i prefer still photos, I never remember to use key words, I spend little time creating the right content, let alone the hook”…..in other words I seldom please the Algorithm Gods. Yet, this Instagram Goddess, (well in my own mind 🤣) is having a blast, and I thank you for being here!

Swipe to get a peek at what I’m working on for this Monday’s Bundle Sales.

A tiny ripple in the big IG pond….
XOXO
Jackie
