Where do I even start with yesterday’s Business Class Awards?! ❤️ What an absolute honour to have been one of the judges. And if anything, the whole experience has reminded me just how blooming brilliant the children’s activity industry really is. An industry full of people who genuinely care. People with passion, purpose and a real desire to make a difference. And judging? My goodness, it was HARD! You hear people say, “Everyone was a worthy winner,” don’t you? But I genuinely mean it. The stories behind these businesses. The reasons they started. The challenges they’ve overcome. The conversations I had with them. Just incredible. I also had the pleasure of hosting one of the mastermind tables, where we explored ways to grow our businesses. And once again, I was reminded just how many brilliant minds we have in this industry. So, if you put yourself forward for an award and didn’t win this time, PLEASE don’t stop. Go again. And again. And again. ❤️ And finally, I absolutely HAVE to talk about Krissy Krissy Monaghan, you are an absolute LEGEND! The thought, care and attention that went into every single detail of this event was something else. The content was exactly what we needed. The speakers, the conversations, the timings. Everything had clearly been so carefully considered. You absolutely smashed it, and I really hope you’re putting your feet up for a few days. You deserve it! It was also just lovely to meet so many new faces, have some brilliant conversations and spend time with people who care so deeply about what they do. I’m incredibly proud to be part of this industry. And I can’t wait to do it all again! 💘👩‍🍳#lovebiz #childrensactivities #bizawards #bizclassawards #womeninbiz

These are my FAVOURITE kind of days! ❤️ Today I have the absolute privilege of being a judge at the Business Class Awards, and I couldn’t be more excited! I get to spend the day surrounded by inspiring women in business, sharing ideas, learning from each other and celebrating what we’re all building. I’ve honestly never known an industry quite like this one. No gatekeeping. No holding back. Just so much support, encouragement and genuine willingness to see each other succeed. I’ll also be hosting a mastermind table where we’ll be talking about a BIG question… Could your business cope without you? We’ll be exploring franchising, licensing and how to build a business that doesn’t rely on you being there every minute of the day. And then comes the second part of the day… Fancy frocks on, heels out and a whole evening celebrating these incredible women and the businesses they’ve worked so hard to build! 🥂 Business, brilliant women and a good excuse to get dressed up. What’s not to love?! ❤️ Who will I be seeing there?! 💃 🥳

A little stitch to celebrate a very special friend and the amazing business she’s built 🤍 Watching you build @little_classroom_ into the amazing business it is today has been so lovely. So much hard work, creativity and heart has gone into it, and I’m so proud of everything you’ve created — and even prouder to call you my friend. It felt only right to turn your lovely logo into something stitched by hand — a little keepsake to celebrate everything you’ve achieved so far 🪡✨ Here’s to Little Classroom, everything you’ve achieved, and everything still to come 🤍 #littleclassroom #embroidery #customembroiderydesigns #handmade #embroideryhoop

If there's one thing I hope every family takes away from Baby Band Festival, it's a love of live music. There's nothing better than watching little ones dance, clap, sing and completely lose themselves in the moment while an incredible band plays. That's what makes this festival so special to me. Just a few more days to go!

One of the things parents tell us every year is... "The bands were briliant!" At The Baby Band Festival we believe family festivals should be just as enjoyable for grown-ups as they are for little ones. That's why we've invited four incredible live bands to soundtrack your day. Bring a picnic blanket. Grab something delicious to eat. Let the little ones dance. We'll take care of the music. 🎟️ Sunday 19th July 📍 Lotherton Hall

Tax fight club with @root.ed.accounting was a game changer this morning, starting a business is daunting and making your numbers work is even more daunting. The fight club allowed me to feel supported by the wonderful Ruth who talked though things so supportively and I made a start on my tax self assessment. Thank you so much Ruth what a fab idea to support mums in business.
