NEW MUSIC 🎶
LINK IN BIO 📲

SLEEPWALKERS💤🚶‍♂️ is a song that basically wrote itself. As an artist, its a special thing to experience when a piece of music comes together so quickly and unexpectedly that it seems to take on a life of its own.

From the moment my Finnish 🇫🇮 producer friend XAM unexpectedly slid me this heavy, punishing production a few weeks ago, I immediately knew what the final cinematic vibe would feel like. Anticipating an October release, we leaned into a dark, ominous cadence which carried the theme of the art and visual as well. Actually, the journey to the polished song and visual was only a couple of weeks thanks to the hard work of Deez Waxx, Dj Dice & Rich Mitchinson & all the fam that pulled up yo make it special.

I’ve literally never been a rap person. Like ever. 😂

Since losing my friend, I’ve found myself connecting to music I probably never would’ve listened to before, just because it makes me feel closer to him.

Going to Merkules was one of those moments.

He played “Ordinary,” and the way he introduced that song fucking moved mountains in my soul.

I don’t even know how to explain what happened in my body when he started talking. It genuinely felt like my friend was speaking through him directly to me. My whole body shook, and I just broke.

For the first time, I felt like maybe I understood Chris a little more. Maybe I understood some of the weight he carried, or how he might have felt near the end. Not in a way that made it hurt more either.

It gave me peace.

Like actual peace in my body.

Grief is fucking weird because you spend so much time looking for someone who isn’t here anymore, and then suddenly you find them in places you never would’ve looked before.

A song. A lyric. Some random moment at a concert.

I think that’s what I love so much about music. People leave pieces of themselves in it.

And for a few minutes that night, I got to feel close to my friend again.

I’ll probably never be able to explain that feeling properly. I just know he was there. I know God was working to reach me, and I felt it clear as day.

And that was enough. ❤️

I don’t need to understand where he went. I just need moments like this one that remind me his love didn’t fucking go with him.
