Yesterday was a PIG day!!

This is what community and collaboration looks like ❤️

One of our lab partnerships reached out asking if I knew any one who could use 550 Ibs of recently expired pig grain. With the help of my friend Kendra @vkendrav she linked me up with @anamcarasanctuaryfarm as she knew they had some piggies! A big thank you to The Dad also known as Dadfish for letting me borrow his truck for the adventure @peterjcormier 🛻

Now those oinkers have some extra grain!!! Happy to help out and it feels great to connect with another lovely sanctuary! Shout out to @anamcarasanctuaryfarm for meeting up on a random late evening for this donation drop off and showing us around the space!

Another reason why this is so important is it helps nurture our current lab partnership. I was invited to tour the facility when I went to pick up the grain which is a HUGE deal and proof of trust. It takes a lot to build these delicate relationships and perhaps with more time and care we can create pathways for other animals they have at their facility. Maybe piggies one day?🤞

Cheers to some good news and cheers to creating new relationships with animal-friendly humans and supporting our ongoing lab partnerships!!! Wooowhooo!

P.S. T-shirt art by the lovely @cherrywave_market and @littlestinkerstudio Thank you so sooo soooo much for donating your art and t-shirts to our cause! You rock our bun socks!🧦
