Day 292 of 365.

Today’s images come from the 20th annual Little Saint Nick Foundation golf outing at Bethpage Golf Course. ⛳️

My friend Chris, @deanolives, introduced me to the Mohler family awhile back. Last year, I played in their outing and started learning what this amazing organization does for sick children.

Since then, we’ve become friends. From their luau to clamming together over the summer and a few dinners, I’ve gotten to know the family behind the mission. Recently, they asked me to serve on the board and help the foundation grow. Of course, I said yes.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m usually volunteering for something. But the more I learn about Little Saint Nick, the more I want to help.

This year, I put together a foursome with friends and also decided to sponsor cocktail hour. I’ve been blessed with a great year in real estate, and being able to give some of that back feels good.

Watching Ray and his family dedicate themselves to making hospital visits a little less scary for kids puts things into perspective. We get caught up in our own bubbles, complaining about small inconveniences, while other families are facing things we can barely imagine.

I had to make a trip to the hospital earlier this year, and it wasn’t fun. Thinking about a child going through that is a reminder of why this work matters.

I often say, “If not me, then who?”

How many times have we heard someone say, “That’s a shame. Somebody should do something”?

Well, we ARE somebody.

You don’t need to sponsor an event or join a board to make a difference. Give an hour. Lend a hand. Show up. Do something that makes another person’s day a little easier.

We teach other people and our kids what being a good human looks like through what we do. They’re watching.

Congratulations to the Little Saint Nick Foundation on another great event, and thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it happen. Your dedication shows and makes a difference. ❤️

Day 273 of 365. 🙏

Today was a beautiful day, but I missed the sunset because I was on a @littlestnick board meeting Zoom… So I’m going back exactly 3 years for this one, from Franklin Square above St. Catherine of Sienna Church. 🙏

The day started with a bunch of calls and a potential new waterfront listing in South Amityville. Then I headed to Contour Mortgage to meet with @angelogionis and the boys, talk leads and business, and of course grab some lunch @shakeshack 🙌

There’s something special about sitting around a table with other people in the industry who are hungry, motivated and willing to share ideas. A quick lunch can turn into a mini mastermind.

Then it was back to the office before my Little Saint Nick board meeting. I’m honored to be part of an organization that does so much for sick kids. ❤️

After that, I picked up my daughter Victoria and took her to tennis. Every one of my kids has their own thing, and I love getting to experience all of it with them.

And that brings me to today’s lesson:

Do the right thing. Always.

In real estate, business and life, you can either focus on what you can get from someone today, or focus on how you can help them for the long haul.

There’s an old saying: Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

I think the same thing applies to business. Take care of your clients. Educate them. Help them make good decisions. Build relationships instead of chasing transactions.

When you genuinely help people, they remember. They come back. They refer their friends and family. That’s how you build something that lasts.

Doing the right thing may not always pay immediately, but over time, it pays in ways money can’t measure.

When in doubt, do the right thing. ❤️🙏

“Whoever is faithful in very little is faithful also in much.” — Luke 16:10

You don’t need a huge plan to make an impact.

For Ray Mohler Jr., it started with giving away his own birthday and Christmas gifts to kids in the hospital. That one act of kindness eventually grew into the Little Saint Nick Foundation. 💗

For International Day of Charity, his story is a reminder to pay attention to the needs around you. Your first step might feel small, but it could grow into something bigger than you imagined.

Our Founder, Raymond Mohler Jr., recently visited Shriners Hospitals for Children – Montréal to personally deliver 1,000 St. Nick Gift Bags to children receiving care.

Each St. Nick Gift Bag is thoughtfully packed with a stuffed animal, Pop-It sensory toy, coloring book, pack of crayons, and a handmade Inspiration Card created by volunteers to bring comfort, hope, and a smile during a child’s hospital stay.

What began with one young boy’s dream after his own hospital experience has grown into a mission that has impacted more than 3 million children, families, healthcare professionals, and volunteers across North America.

A heartfelt thank you to @degrandprechait who made this special delivery possible. Together, we’re reminding every child that they are loved, supported, and never alone. ❤️🎁
