a little bit of life lately !!

A lot of life updates happening all at once right now.

My mom is continuing her journey toward a full recovery, and watching her strength through it all has been nothing short of inspiring. At the same time, both of my parents are learning how to readjust to retirement, stepping into a completely new chapter of life.

On my end, it feels like everything is just getting started. I’ll be heading to Richmond soon to personally shake hands with Tom Cavanagh and Grant Gustin from The Flash. A full-circle moment considering how much that story has inspired me to write "The Marksman: A Knight's Tale" in 2021.

Family-wise, things are growing in the best way. My sister is expecting a daughter, and my brother will soon be welcoming a daughter of his own.

A new generation on the way.

Creatively, the first chapter of the Project Apex One sequel is almost completely edited thanks to @liv_matson and there’s a lot more in motion behind the scenes. New opportunities for vendor shows and book signings are already underway, and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead.

A lot is changing. A lot is building. We’re just getting started.

Time for a new "chapter."

Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servent, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.” The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” ~Exodus 4:10

I think of this verse every time I don’t think I can do something, which is very often, lol but if I doubt myself I doubt my God who created me. This past weekend was such a blessing, and I praise Yahweh for the opportunity to be apart of not just an amazing team, but a team that puts Him first in all things. #praiseyahweh #blessed #amazingteam
