As we all make our way into holiday season, I want to remind you all how much you mean to me. It’s been nearly a decade of me making my friends hotter. The relationships that I get to share with each one of you is truly a gift I never thought I deserved. But now I know I do. Because you all have become my best friends, my family, and the best parts of each of my days. Not just the ones pictured, every single one of you. Every story you share, every belly laugh, and the occasional tear, they are all the reason why I wake up in the morning grateful. Grateful to be in a shop that I love (@sessionhaireast ) with people I love. My career is rooted in unconditional community and joy. Thank you all for being the party I get to go to everyday. ❤️

To take back everything this world has violently taken from me.

To be queer is to be honest.

To be the love this world needs. To choose who chooses you.

To choose yourself.

And despite the horrors, we still choose love. We still prosper.

I’ve been quieter on the feed and in my work this month, taking a little summer break after my Santa Fe trip to soak up time with loved ones, wrap up remaining galleries to completely clear my editing queue, and let my creativity recharge for a bit before diving back in come August. I’m currently booking for August and beyond, and I’ve been prepping for an exciting gallery show at the beginning of the month (stay tuned)! In the meantime, here are some previews from recent portrait sessions. Thank you always to everyone who has trusted me to share their stories. Don’t forget to take care of yourselves, friends! 🌈
