One size fits all hair extensions? In this day and age? Absolutely not. 💁🏼‍♀️ Especially not when we’re talking about fine hair. Your natural hair has a limit to what it can comfortably support, and on a personal level knowing those limitations makes all the difference. I don’t want you tolerating your extensions. I want you to forget you’re even wearing them. Fine hair and really effing good extensions can absolutely coexist. You’ll never catch me endorsing something that I don’t personally love and trust when it comes to a lot of things, but especially my hair 💁🏼‍♀️ ____________________ I’m @cara_evertss - a Michigan hair stylist and extension specialist creating lived-in color and hand-crafted K-tip extensions for women who want effortless, natural-looking hair that feels as good as it looks. We don’t skip leg day, and we definitely don’t skip brushing our extensions. A little intentional maintenance goes a very long way. And yes, I’m absolutely going to show you exactly how to do this before you leave my studio because I want you to feel confident taking care of your extensions at home. Save this for your next brush day 🫶🏻 _______________ I’m @cara_evertss - a Michigan hair stylist and extension specialist creating lived-in color and hand-crafted K-tip extensions for women who want effortless, natural-looking hair that feels as good as it looks. Self care can be whatever you decide it is 💁🏼‍♀️ Do you technically need extensions to survive? Probably not. But tbh, survival is a very low bar for decision making…just saying. Not every decision has to be defended by practicality. Sometimes “this makes me happy every single day” is enough. If having hair you love makes getting ready easier, gives you more confidence, makes you feel hotter, or just more like yourself…then that matters. You literally don’t need a better reason 🫶🏻 Book your consultation through the link in my bio 😘 ___________ I’m @cara_evertss - a Michigan hair stylist and extension specialist creating lived-in color and hand-crafted K-tip extensions for women who want effortless, natural-looking hair that feels as good as it looks. MY BESTIE IS GETTING MARRIEDDDDDD 👰🏻‍♀️ So naturally, extensions were always in the works. She’s worn 1 row before, took a little break, and now she’s BACK. Except this time we went for a little more WOW and did 2 rows 😈 The goal: comfort + longevity. Two rows gives me way more hair to work with on the wedding day, more styling options, and curls that actually hold. Come back in a month to see her actual wedding hair because absolutely no sneak peeks over here 🤫 _____________ I’m @cara_evertss - a Michigan hair stylist and extension specialist creating lived-in color and hand-crafted K-tip extensions for women who want effortless, natural-looking hair that feels as good as it looks. Nothing feels better than when a client tells me something I gave them feels life changing 🥹 How lucky am I that I get to sit with women from all walks of life, hear their stories, learn their hair, figure out what hasn’t been working for them, and then create something that actually does!? And I know it’s “just hair”…but a lot of times it really isn’t. Getting to be the person who helps someone feel more like themselves again is one of my favorite parts of what I do. So, not to be dramatic but…yeah, I’ll probably never get over it 🥰 ___________ I’m @cara_evertss - a Michigan hair stylist and extension specialist creating lived-in color and hand-crafted K-tip extensions for women who want effortless, natural-looking hair that feels as good as it looks. Don’t tell me that your sides won’t grow when they definitely could 👀 Imagine how much your hair could’ve grown in the time you spent waiting to finally get extensions. Just sayinggggg…that doesn’t happen by accident. Her hair is baby fine and especially fragile around her face, so her bond size, weight, placement and tension are all customized around what she can support naturally. I’m never forcing her hair to carry more than it can handle. Leaving your natural hair better than I found it is always the priority 😘 _______________ I’m @cara_evertss - a Michigan hair stylist and extension specialist creating lived-in color and hand-crafted K-tip extensions for women who want effortless, natural-looking hair that feels as good as it looks. The funny thing is, needing hair extensions was never the point 👀 I like my hair to look good consistently. I also like not having to work so hard for it. Especially when you have fine hair and you know there’s only so much a blowout, rollers, or another styling product can realistically do. Once you get used to that kind of ease, whether you “need” them becomes pretty irrelevant ya know!? _______________ I’m @cara_evertss - a Michigan hair stylist and extension specialist creating lived-in color and hand-crafted K-tip extensions for women who want effortless, natural-looking hair that feels as good as it looks. Babes, if you love high & tight extensions, YOU DO YOU! No hard feelings here! (just don’t come for me in my comment section IYKYK) They’re just not how I do them. I want your extensions to be comfy AF, imperceivable, and not putting unnecessary stress on your natural hair, which is why I drop my bonds a little lower. It helps avoid those chunky little triangle situations at the root so everything lays flatter, looks way more natural (and no one’s clocking your bonds!), while giving your natural hair a little more room to move. But the best part is how extensions FEEL when the bond is lower. There’s less tension, more freedom of movement, and you can still style your hair however you want. And I promise, you’ll enjoy wearing them more. When I do extensions, I want them to look like your hair, feel like your hair, AND be easy enough to live in that you forget you’re wearing them. We’re not settling for anything less ✨ Which bond camp are you in: low & comfy or high & tight? _______________ I’m @cara_evertss - a Michigan hair stylist and extension specialist creating lived-in color and hand-crafted K-tip extensions for women who want effortless, natural-looking hair that feels as good as it looks.
