🤖 Dirk Elmendorf + Nic McGinnis broke down the future of AI, design, and what this generation has the opportunity to build.

👏 Madison King absolutely delivered, leading an incredible conversation with Daniel Trevino + Ben Hodge about hospitality, technology, and the future of the spaces that bring us together. 🏙️🍽️🎶

The Creative Futures Brunch™ x SA Startup + Tech Week | Pt. 1 ☕️🥐🖤

A little Creative Futures lore.

In 2019, we hosted our very first Creative Futures Brunch. It was supposed to lead into our first conference, which never happened. We were young, green, and figuring it all out. 😂

But Box St. Social and Pulp Coffee Roasters believed in us anyway.

Fun fact: James Mireles and Pulp Coffee actually gave The Down Market team our very first paid creative project. I'll never forget that.

Seven years later, after countless projects, restaurants, lessons, failures, and wins, we're back together. Only now, we've actually produced the conference, and we're exploring new opportunities in tech and AI together.

Man, what a full-circle moment. 🥹

To Chef Edward, Daniel, Caroline, James, and the entire Pulp Coffee team, thank you for believing in us then and continuing to build with us now.

The best part isn't just what we're building. It's who we get to build it with.

Seven years later, we're still just getting started.

No risk. No magic. ✨🖤

What an amazing turnout for the @thecreativefutures Brunch at the beautiful @live300main ! After a rainy week, we were so glad to come together yesterday morning to celebrate & wrap up San Antonio Startup Week.

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out to support us, especially our incredible vendors: @theboxstreetsocial , @pulpcoffee and @_novasoul We loved hearing from our guest speakers and connecting with so many inspiring people.

San Antonio Startup Week was such a great experience, and this brunch was the perfect way to close it out. We can’t wait to bring more Creative Futures events to San Antonio. Stay tuned for next year! ✨

Creative Futures Brunch brought San Antonio together—

Tech, creatives, solopreneurs, corporate, government, contractors, employees, investors, and students—all together on one roof.

With gorgeous city skyline views high atop the 25th floor of @live300main, it was an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and conversate about relevant issues like the future of AI and innovative ways for stakeholders, clients, and brands to navigate this rapidly changing landscape together, in community.

From the delicious brunch spread and full coffee bar to the DJ keeping the energy going outside while great panel discussions happened within, there was a wonderful balance of learning and socializing.

I met some great people too. Because gatherings like this are more than meet and greets. This is where relationships are built, business opportunities take shape, and collaborations begin.
