TheMissionHQ @themissionhqfitness , All Good Living Foundation @aglfoundation , and Patria Church Alameda @patria.alameda are joining forces to make sure families in our own community — families who’ve been scraping by, stretching every dollar, and fighting through tough times — get to sit down to a warm Thanksgiving meal.

On Saturday, November 22nd at NEA School in Alameda, we’ll be feeding local families who need a little extra support this season. And every donation helps make that possible.

A friend recently stated that the Kidney Transplant Waitlist in the U.S. is a very solvable issue. He’s 💯 percent correct. From the passing of #NYJets two-time first-team All-Pro Center, Nick Mangold (RIP) due to kidney disease complications, to the inspiring #NowYouSeeMe Movie Star, Jesse Eisenberg, donating his kidney to a complete stranger, kidneys have been in the national spotlight.

Stats in the US:

🚨30+ million people are living with kidney disease and most don’t know they have it.
🚨 Approx 505,000 on dialysis
🚨 Approx 90,000 people waiting for a transplant

I was honored to be on Fox 5 News NY representing @thenationalkidneyregistry as a consultant and Donor/Patient Outreach Specialists. Was able to share my own personal thoughts regarding Mangold and Eisenberg. Was also able to get out info about living donation as well as how and where to get help.

#MissionInMotion 🚨🚨🚨

Recently, many of the local public schools in Oakland reported that their water supplies have been contaminated with lead. Lead has been found at dangerous levels in at least 30 Oakland schools According to @theoaklandside.

We are proud to announce that the communities from @themissionhqfitness and @gopaboxingclub organized by @aglfoundation went out and delivered over 4000 bottles of water directly to some of the schools in September! The funds were directly raised from members of TheMissionHQ, Gopa Boxing Club, and All Good Living Foundation.

They were joined by staff from all 3 organizations including Anthony Garnica @anthony_garnica, undefeated professional boxer fighting out of Oakland, CA & Tiana Bullock @tiana_sellingbayarea, REALTOR with Sequoia Real Estate Oakland.

🌟 Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it! Our community has truly come through with referrals, partnerships, collaborations, and sharing markets. 🙌🏽

Special shoutout to Chris @liveallgood who always asks, “How are you?” in the most genuine way. One day, while brainstorming hands-free in my car with Chris, I was at a stop sign, creeping forward to see better, when an older white man aggressively yelled at me for crossing the first line. He even looked like he might throw a dog poop bag at my car!

Calmly, I told him, “Sir, you don’t need to yell or be so aggressive.” All the while, Chris listened, experiencing firsthand a moment of racial aggression—a sadly familiar scene for many of us.

In that moment, Chris’s support meant the world. This shared experience deepened our partnership and strengthened our relationship. 💪🏽✨

Thank you, Chris! This is just the beginning of many great things to come! 🌈❤️
