The Souvenir series is made from blue clay found in the urban Fredensborg area in Oslo. Inspired by the old, wooden architecture on site, designer @livebergstudio started sketching and making models in Styrofoam. Ceramic studio @osloleire translated her ideas, creating the prototypes freehand, letting the material lead the way.

ll is on the ground at the Milan Furniture Fair this week and we’ll be bringing you loads of coverage next week, but meanwhile we're featuring quick hits on the best things we're seeing as we go. First up is the ninth-annual edition of @norwegianpresence, a group exhibition of work by some of the Nordic country's best talents, curated by @doganorway and, this year, styled by @kraakvikdorazio and @bjornvandenberg. Some of the key pieces in the show include a dyed-birch stepladder and stool by @studio.sloyd, a wild felted-wool chair on a beige metal base by @stineaas and @sivstoldalsivstoldal, and a pleasingly chunky half-moon tiered side table made from local Norwegian pine by @svingen_arkitektkontor and @somewhere.wx. See the show this week at Via Pietro Maroncelli 2 in Brera.
