“The Foundation Turning Golf Into Healing — And Why Greenside News Stands With Them”
The Joe Grohman Golf Foundation has spent years transforming golf into a pathway for healing. Their programs support disabled veterans, stroke survivors, blind golfers, and at‑risk youth — proving that golf can rebuild confidence, restore connection, and change lives.

Their impact is quiet but powerful. Their reach is wide. And their commitment to adaptive athletes is unmatched.

That’s why Greenside News stepped in as a media partner and sponsor for Monday’s Brett Lang Invitational — donating 120 custom shoe bags and deploying full media crews to help amplify the Foundation’s mission.

This event is more than a tournament. It’s a celebration of every life the Foundation has touched.

Greenside News will be there to tell those stories. Get all the latest SoCal Golf News: https://www.greensidenews.com

What an incredible day at Westchester Golf Course — Courage Games 2025 — Veterans and Adaptive golfers coming together to play, laugh, compete, and celebrate what this game gives us all: connection, challenge, and community.

Golf has a unique way of bringing people together — no matter your ability, your background, or your story. Days like this remind me why I am a @pga pro.

Everyone is battling something - and I saw a lot of warriors today, inside and out. We had a lot of first time golfers, some of whom haven’t left their house in years. They came out to be a part of today and try something new - to join our little (now big) community. This is so much bigger than golf, and I am honored to be in a position to assist making all this happen.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out, volunteered their time and ♥️ , and supported this event. You made today unforgettable.

Good afternoon all you great friends and enthusiastic golfers,

Well, it’s about that time again. Next Tuesday, 12 August 2025 we will be having our monthly golf clinic at the Old Ranch Public Driving Range starting at 9:00 AM.

Looking forward to seeing you all there again. Last month we had a nice turnout, and it was good to see some new faces.

Best Regards,

Bob Schrader, CMSgt, USAF (Ret) RSVP rlsss@aol.com

Abilities Expo LA to me is the best one but you'll have to checkout all the other locations then let me know. It's THE place to check out specific resources and products for the disability community.

The best part is meeting new people and seeing old friends. We get to catch up, share, and just hangout in a safe space.

I also got to showoff my Paiseec Powerchair this year!

What a wonderful turn out for our 3rd Annual Para-Golf Classic last Thursday. ⛳ We are super grateful for the generosity and support of so many. With 51 clinic participants and 60 afternoon golfers, everyone had a blast on the greens for a fun filled day at @westchestergcla.

Thank you to our clinic sponsor @NBCLA and @Telemundo52 and committee members, coaches, and community partners. We couldn’t do this without you.
