POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
We all have a story. I believe in being the hero of our own narrative. People who can take the darkest plot points that are tragic, even impossibly hard, and push them forward into the light… they are my heroes. That’s exactly what my new friend Chantal did. She has taken her lowest moment, and turned it into sunshine to shower on others. It’s almost too much for me to bear, the humanity, love, grace, and strength. When she asked me to meet her about a commission, I had no idea I’d be so deeply in love with her mission.

,,I Still Believe It’s True” is a tribute to her father, her strength, and the will to find happiness. She requested a happy and calming painting. It’s a difficult pair to draw to, but I’m so proud of how we worked through it together. This piece will be used as note cards, journal covers, and stickers to be gifted to patients who are currently in a mental health hospital. There is a companion piece (see the last slide) that I will introduce soon.

@liveinspired.365 - you are doing incredible, beautiful things! Thank you for letting me be a part of it. 🩵🩵🩵

On February 24, 2018 my Grandpa took his own life after a short battle with mental illness, which left our family devastated. With all the negativity that mental illness can bring, Maddy and I wanted to make something positive out of his story. Maddy and I have designed these sweatshirts in memory of our Papa. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Behavioral Health Center, where my Grandpa received his care. Link in bio💖 (preorders are due July 8th)
