SCOUTING FOR A CAUSE // Meet Our 2026 Winner 💙 We’re so excited to announce that @LiveLikeKnox is this year’s Scouting for a Cause winner! The Live Like Knox Foundation was created to carry forward Knox Dydalewicz’s legacy and the belief that kindness can have a lasting impact. The foundation recognizes graduating seniors who make others feel included and lead with compassion in their schools and communities. Through its Kindness Carries On Scholarships, Live Like Knox has recognized 52 graduating seniors across Texas and awarded nearly half a million dollars in just two years. Its work encourages the next generation to make kindness part of how they move through the world. #BeingKindIsKool As our winner, Live Like Knox will receive a complimentary spread in The Scout Guide Dallas Volume 15 along with full membership benefits. Thank you to all seven incredible finalists and every person who participated in this year’s campaign. We’re honored to help shine a light on the work happening across our Dallas community.

In just two short years, the Live Like Knox Foundation has recognized 52 graduating seniors across Texas and awarded more than half a million dollars in Kindness Carries On Scholarships for college and trade school. Knox would have celebrated his 15th birthday on September 11th, so this month I am personally asking my followers to help us celebrate with $15 for Knox’s 15th! Your $15 donation will help grow our ‘2027 Kindness Carries On Scholarship Fund’ and recognize even more students who are leading with kindness in their schools and communities. Help us REACH OUR GOAL this MONTH - Kindness Carries ON XO.

This past weekend, Carly and I had the privilege of traveling to Texas for the Live Like Knox Foundation’s 2nd Annual Scholarship and Awards dinner. The Live Like Knox Foundation was founded in 2024 in memory of 12 year old Knox Dydalewicz. Knox brought joy and kindness to all who knew him. He was passionate about life, playing basketball, collecting basketball shoes and cards, his friends, fishing and golf. In just two short years, the foundation has awarded scholarships to 51 graduating seniors who demonstrate leadership, kindness, empathy, and joy. Not for their academic achievements or test scores but for living each day a 10 out of 10-just like Knox did. The work the Dydalewicz family and their community is doing is truly remarkable and it was humbling to witness. Honoring Knox’s memory with a purpose and creating that ripple effect of kindness that reaches further than anyone may ever know. #livelikeknox #kindness #empathy #joy

Proud to support the incredible students awarded scholarships at the Live Like Knox Foundation’s (@livelikeknox) annual dinner. The cause is deeply inspiring, and seeing so many familiar faces from my Champions days was a full-circle moment. Also, thrilled that my nomination to @dceomagazine’ Nonprofit Awards led them to become a finalist in the Newcomer Nonprofit category. Wishing them the best of luck! I am proud of the work the organization is doing and love being able to volunteer with them. Let’s keep elevating impact in the spirit of such a special little boy!

We all got together for a great cause. It cost absolutely nothing to be kind. Let’s keep helping the less fortunate. Help out a total stranger just because. Strive to make others better. It’s all on US to make a difference. @livelikeknox @championsschool

Over the past few weeks I had the opportunity to paint a custom cooler for the Live Like Knox Foundation. I created this piece special to the foundation’s second annual awards dinner ceremony, titled “It’s Always Sunny Above the Clouds.” This was such a special opportunity getting to paint a piece with such a meaningful story and impact behind it. The piece includes the title of the ceremonial dinner, the foundation’s logo, a basketball shoe to honor Knox’s love for the game, “Being Kind is Cool” quote, and of course “Kindness Carries On.” I am so grateful for the opportunity to help out! Thank you @livelikeknox for letting me create something so special! 💙🧾 It’s always sunny above the clouds! đŸŒ€ïž#livelikeknox

Today started in a beautiful and bittersweet way honoring Knox 💙 It’s hard to believe that’s it’s been two years since these kids lives changed forever. Knox was a friend to everyone and a stranger to no one. He was the epitome of what kindness looks like and is missed by anyone and everyone that knew him. These kids will continue to carry on his legacy and SAY HIS NAME! We love and miss you Knox
