Kicking 2026 off in the right way 👩🏻‍🏫

Charlotte Pook, Talent Acquisition Manager at Electric Square & Lively Studio, was back on the road yesterday, visiting the brilliant students at Northbrook College.🌟

This is the first of many visits we have planned this year to schools, colleges, and universities, upholding our commitment to education and social mobility📚

Thank you, William Marshall, for inviting us to speak with your excellent 2026 cohort, and thank you, Jonathan Davis, for making these opportunities technically possible 💻

Here are some cool networking opportunities with our teams during @developconference next week:

🎮 Our crew at @playerresearch is hosting private open day sessions by appointment only on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th July. Email hello@playerresearch.com to set up a time for a studio tour and to see for yourself how they conduct playtests and develop UX strategies. It's just a 15-minutes stroll from the Develop event venue and Brighton train station.

Bonus tip: you can tailor these sessions to your interests, from market research to accessible design.

🎥 Our marketing experts at @thetrailerfarm and @bigfarmer.studio are hosting another Develop brunch this year. Join them in their studio for a relaxed games industry get-together on the last day of the conference (Thursday 10th July, 11am to 1pm). Due to limited space, please register your interest via email at info@bigfarmer.studio.

Bonus tip: the wider Keywords Studios team will attend this brunch, so you might bump into folks from @fire_without_smoke, @ichiworldwide, @maverickteam, or @playerresearch.

👩 Our partners and friends from @women_in_games_wigj are back with their ever-popular Cake & Fizz networking event, featuring a keynote on equity, access, and reshaping the pathways into games for under-represented talent. It will take place within the Hilton Brighton Metropole hotel on Wednesday 9th July, from 3 to 5pm.

Bonus tip: ask them about the Women in Games Ambassador Programme, powered by Keywords Studios.

🗓️ If you can't make any of these times, you can always swing by our #DevelopConf booths from @d3tltd, @climaxstudios, @livelygamestudio, @electricsqgames, and @multiplayergroup.

Bonus tip: you can already book a meeting with one of our experts on-site (link in bio)!

Have a relaxing weekend. See you in Brighton soon!

Day 1 of our Electric Square Wellbeing Week was an absolute BLAST! 💙

🌸 Our stellar team in Singapore kicked things off by getting scent-savvy with a perfume-making session hosted by @oola.lab.

🌱 Next up, we treated all of our people to a digestion workshop led by Claire Robilliard from @thebetterwellbeingclub.

💸 Then we raised our money mindset with some practical finance tips from Jon and Jane from @bippit_ltd.

Massive thanks to all the awesome experts who joined us, and to our superstar HR Coordinator Kat for putting it together. 👏

Tell us. How do you recharge and reset? 🔋

🧩🍕 Lego n' Lunch, anyone?

As part of our Lively Wellbeing Week, we hit pause yesterday for a relaxed Lego n’ Lunch session. 😋✨

Because nothing says midweek reset like puzzles and pizza!

🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride Month from all of us at Electric Square!

This month, our teams are stepping out for a 10k-a-day relay. One teammate, 10k steps, every day, all in support of MindOut, the amazing mental health service run by and for #LGBTQ+ people. 🧠

So far, we've raised a whopping £130 towards our £750 goal!
