THE POLICE. U2. R.E.M. ONE NIGHT. ONE STAGE.
Three bands that helped redefine modern rock. Three catalogues packed with songs you already know — brought together live by Toronto’s The Spiral Theory.
From Message in a Bottle and Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic to Where the Streets Have No Name, With or Without You, Losing My Religion, The One I Love and more — it’s one recognizable song after another for the first two sets.
The third breaks the tribute wide open with music from The Killers, The Tragically Hip, Bryan Adams, Rush, The Black Keys, The Strokes, and more.
The songs are familiar. The combination isn’t.

WILDS will be coming into the Linsmore to perform on our stage for the very first time and we know that our passionate music supporters are going to love them! aying in front of crowds for over a decade, they’ve perfected a night of covers that get everyone singing along, spanning everything from The Killers and Catfish and the Bottlemen to Weezer and The Black Keys, all carried by the same infectious, high-energy sound that’s become their signature. The choruses are big, the rhythm section doesn’t let up, and the room won’t either. We have a really fun night of music coming up on Thursday October 8th! 2 Trick Ponies will be coming to our stage for the very first time and one of our favourite singer/songwriters who has been playing the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) for close to 15 years, Carmen Toth!
Trick Ponies are a gang of delinquent pub rockers tearing through three decades of hits — the 70s, 80s, and 90s, all in one night. From soulful ballads to full-throttle punk, the setlist swings from Fleetwood Mac to Iron Maiden, Springsteen to Soundgarden, and Steely Dan to Stooges. Not just a one trick pony!
Carmen Toth is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter known for her hook-driven power pop, heartfelt storytelling, and retro-influenced sound. Drawing inspiration from artists like Stevie Nicks, Kate Bush, Cyndi Lauper, and Sheryl Crow, her music blends vulnerability with classic pop-rock grit.
The show starts at 7:30pm, don’t miss it!
