POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Most people think the arm connects to the torso at the shoulder.

That’s not wrong but it’s not the whole story.

The only bone-to-bone connection of the arm to the torso is actually at the front, at the sternoclavicular joint.

Right where your collarbone meets your sternum.

Why does this matter?

Because how you think you’re put together directly affects how you move.

If your mental map of your own body is from first grade “the head bone’s connected to the neck bone”, your movement is working from incomplete information.

A more accurate picture changes things. Subtly but meaningfully.

That’s why I bring Shazam to work.

Want to discuss this further? Let’s connect, free 20-min inquiry call, link in the comments.

Shazam has been busy…April Fool’s!

Although…it’s not entirely untrue.

A lot of this work is simply about noticing what’s already happening.

The small ways effort creeps in.

The habits that feel normal but aren’t necessarily helpful.

And how quickly things can shift when you don’t try to fix everything at once.

A machine isn’t required but with a bit more awareness and a different way of working with yourself.

That’s what we explore in Integrative Alexander Technique, in sessions in Seattle and online.

If you’re curious to explore your own patterns, you’re very welcome to get in touch or book a free 20-minute inquiry call.

When the adjustments hit right, that leg jerk reaction is only one way the body responds! 😂 all jokes aside, when we treat it right, the body’s flow point is restored, we then move right, and live right 🌱✌🏼
Thank you for always helping me heal @drcalvindc

I told my colleague @liverightchiro that if @seattlekraken win the game, I'll give him a good crackn' 🤣. In all seriousness, I cleared his brain function through these adjustments. I specifically used a technique known as Zone Technique and cleared his Zone 2 and 5. What was extra special about this moment, this was both our first time to an NHL game! 🏒 (One of my patients gifted me these amazing seats 🙏)

I offer many services in my clinic, one is Zone Technique. If you need any help with your brain, I'm happy to help. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions @the.energy.clinic 💥
