Closing out a year that stretched me, taught me, and reminded me why I make music in the first place. Thank you to everyone who listened, shared, came to a show, or believed before things made sense 🤍
Ending 2025 with gratitude. Entering 2026 with intention. 🌊

it’s unfortunate that I prefer singing other genres over jazz cause I’ve been doing lots of “jazz/crooner” gigs (see slide 3) and I fear my voice was made for it

2025 is ending here’s a mini dump!!!!!! I have a weird relationship with posting to the internet. I don’t really have a desire to share on a personal level, but then I need to for my career, and then I’m like well if I’m GONNA share I should be super open, and so on and so forth. So, this year was both really great and really hard. My mental health has been really all over the place for like, I dunno, 20 years.. but my awareness of it has really skyrocketed the past few years. I’ve been working for myself which has been amazing but I also struggle with self-discipline so it’s even easier for me to go into a black hole of literal psychiatric illness and lemme tell ya! I sure have been doing that! But as you can see from these sneak peaks (2 of these videos show snippets of new songs ive been workin on xoxoxoxoxo) I’ve also been creating like a mad person and I’m working on new music and it’s the best music I’ve ever made by a shit ton. 2026 new Valeree music comin to ya and hopefully she will be more stable woooooo but I suppose we will just have to see. also side note ive decided to completely give up any concern whatsoever with being cool so

I can’t believe this was just a week ago 🥹✨
A little clip from our live performance of “I’m Lovin’ Me” at The Recording Club with @livesessionjam x @_laplayground

Seeing so many friendly faces in the room and sharing this moment with people I love was honestly so special. 🥰 Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

I’ll be posting some BTS soon and stay tuned for MORE NEW MUSIC coming in January ♥️🎶

Aaaand ... round two of my photos of last night's @livesessionjam together with @_laplayground at @therecording.club
Which turned out to be a worthy last live session jam of this year. Again, it was such an amazing jam with great guest artists and the "usual suspects" from the local community. It was so beautiful to watch, listen and connect.
A big thank you to the organizers!
