We danced together all summer. And over 65% of you said you wanted classes. So here we are - lets go deeper. This fall, ROTP is bringing Hustle indoors for a six-week progressive built for beginners and early-stage dancers who want to develop a strong foundation and keep up the social dancing through the winter months. We’ll be building. Working with timing, weight shift, connection, frame, leading and following, musicality, floor awareness, and the history and lineage that make Hustle so rich. The difference from a drop-in? Time. Time to practice. Time to ask questions. Time to dance with the same people. Time to build on what we learned the week before. AND some freebies 😏: Practicums, Discussion Prompts, Additional History Sessions, Free Entry into Socials, Dance Field Trips and more! You don’t need to already “be a dancer.” You don’t need a partner. Come ready to learn, practice, connect, go deep and dance with other people. 6 weeks. One cohort. Build your Hustle. 🗓️ Nov. 1–Dec. 13 ⏰ Sundays · 6:30–8 PM 📍 Dance Underground · Capitol Hill 💛 $200 early bird through Oct. 20 $225 standard · Sliding scale, scholarships & work trade available Class dates: Nov. 1 · Nov. 8 · Nov. 15 · Nov. 22 · Dec. 6 · Dec. 13 Thanksgiving weekend off · No class Nov. 29. 📸: @brotherbae

Hustle on the Pier Vol 3 was beautiful because of what you brought to it - your friends, your families, your history with Hustle, your energy and curiosity! Everyone was there to dance, enjoy the music, and celebrate being together in the prime of Seattle summer ✨ Thank you @reverend_dr_dj_riz for keeping us moving from start to finish. Thank you @brotherbae for capturing the vibe so well. Thank you to our performers, @nynylynne @frances.j.wolfe @samearm_sameleg @dorkus128 @sun.sh4n and crew and @stardust_moves ! And thank you to you all: our out-of-town friends, our new friends, and our regulars - we see you! We’ll see you again for our last event this summer, the Hustle on the Pier finale on Sept 12 from 3-6:30! #SeattleWaterfront #DowntownSeattle #HustleonthePier

We just finished Hustle on the Pier Vol 3 but before we talk about that we wanted to take a moment to say Thank You to everyone who came out and got down with us on Vol 2. We weren’t sure of what to expect. But man oh man, a TIME WAS HAD! First we’d like to give it up to the maestro on the decks - @_floydvader for providing the ideal levels of soul, groove, house and more. Thank you for making it up here and sharing your craft 🙏🏼 And then a big shout out to all of you as well. To those who registered and those who just walked up and especially to the families and kids. Joining together for spontaneous line dancing, double dutch, cyphers and conversation is just the kind of thing we’re about. The joy, laughter and presence felt was because of all of you and we can’t tell you how much it means to us. Thank you for being open to share space, company and connect 🤗 We’d super appreciate it if you can give us feedback by filling out our brief survey and if you want to support our work, go to our donation page. Links are in the bio! See ya soon! Rhythm of The People 📸 @vi_tabatadze ✨🔥 #SeattleWaterfront #DowntownSeattle #HustleonthePier

WOW, y’all. 💛 You brought the energy, the grooves, and the connection to Volume 1 of Hustle on the Pier! Thank you for dancing in the sun with us! Whether you’ve been Hustling for years or stepped onto the dance floor for the very first time, we hope you left feeling a little more connected—to the music, to the dance, and to each other. Huge love to @joeycolumbia for keeping the vibes immaculate all afternoon! When we started dreaming up this series back in the spring, we honestly had no idea what our first event would look like. Seeing so many of you come together, dance with strangers who quickly became friends, and fill the pier with joy...that’s exactly what we were hoping for. Volume 1 felt like the beginning of something really special, and that’s because of every single person who came out and shared the space with us. We’d super appreciate it if you can give us feedback by filling out our brief survey and if you want to support our work, go to our donation page. Links are in the bio! See you for Volume 2 on Sunday, July 26th with DJ Floyd Vader! 💃🏻🕺🏻🎡 #SeattleWaterfront #DowntownSeattle #HustleonthePier

We had the opportunity to run our first hustle progressive together this year!! We are so grateful for those so signed up to learn and dance with us 🥰 It was a pleasure being your teachers (never shy asking us for a dance ☺️💝). We learned just as much if not more from this experience. Be on the look out for more in 2025 ~~ - my bad we didn’t photoshop those who missed the last class 😅 maybe a new skill to learn next year

Joined a community (@hustleatrs) over the summer and met some great people. These photos I think capture their personalities perfectly. Taken at @hustlevanjamme Trying out my .95 f stop lens, worried iso settings got changed half way through the night.
